I could beat the gov over the head with a big stick today! I create HIPs as part of my job and I had to find out about this through a client!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! At least I was able to cancel some of her searches to get her some money back - don't think you'll be able to Radish I'm afraid
sorry to hijack your thread Radish, I'm just peeved that none of the 'authorites' could be bothered to let us know (the gov website only updated at 12!)Currently studying for a Diploma - wish me luck

Should I be worried that my BF was last on the list :rotfl:
If he reads this I'll have to convince him that I was saving the best to last
Felt so tired on Friday night that I didn't drive to BF house but got up early Saturday, did some jobs around the house then set off to his made it for just after 9.00
Looking forward to the Bank Holiday, need to plead with manager to let me have Friday off as a holiday, he said no yesterday but we will review the situation on Wednesday.
So hopefully will be off to Dorset to see BF's sister for the weekend :TMortgage Aug 12 £165K, Aug 19 £0

Think I have Friday off as time card approved plus all the issues that happened last week have been fixed for this week by me (just like to point out that I didn't cause any off the issues, it was someone else's fault )
I rememer when I was in debt I worked all the overtime hours going, to the point of not having a weekend. I'm so glad that I don't have to anymore sincely all overtime has stopped where I work due to the recessionMortgage Aug 12 £165K, Aug 19 £0

Spent a brilliant weekend with BF's sister, not very good for our livers though, but the weather was nice and sunny so had a nice walk along the coast, then some beers in a pub and that seemed to be the pattern for the whole weekend
At my house this weekend so trying to find the courage to clean the barbie so we can use it today, sun keeps disappearing though, Also trying to find the inclination to get of the sofa and do some housework but as the DW is on and the WM is also on I'm classing this as doing housework
No viewing sine the last one, BF had a viewing on Thursday but not heard anything, but none of the house in the area have sold either
Finally filled in my passport form and sent it off, got it back this week so hooray for the passport office for only taking just over a week. This rush was called for by BF saying we would go to Germany in July with some friends for a min break, so looking forward to that
Payday on Tuesday which is good as remembered June is quite an expensive month, TV license, MOT (must book car in), Car insurance and now passport cost all come out this month, all in the budget so no need to look for the money
Need to get back on track with finances, been a bit slack, think I can up my mortgage OP but then I think it is better saving it in case we buy a house after only selling BF house
But plan for today is chill out, eat meat, drink beer and watch England - bliss
Have a good weekend :TMortgage Aug 12 £165K, Aug 19 £0

sounds like you have had a fab weekend, its amazing what a bit of sunshine can do, however at the moment I am sitting watching the rain pelt down, what a difference a day makes.
As far as the overpayment goes maybe it would be a good idea just to put it to one side incase you choose to use it for a deposit, after all it will eventually come of the mortgage but might make life a bit easier in the short term.

We spent Sunday watching the rain, had to go out with umbrellas to put the barbie away (as we didn't do it Saturday night)
BF estate agents rang Sat afternoon, the woman that viewed his house has shortlisted his as 1 of her 4 favourites, so will be arranging a 2nd viewing this week
Think I will save any money that is spare towards the deposit, and then see if we can get a good mortgage deal with a smaller deposit. Plus BF has the best mortgage deal at 0.5% (tracks the bank of england rate)so if we could carry this across to a new house that would be ideal
Think BF will go for this as if his does sell first he will have the worst commute to work as he will be heading towards Manchester
All this planning ahead without selling either house, excel speadsheets will be out again a the weekend:rotfl:Mortgage Aug 12 £165K, Aug 19 £0
