Rotherham Lass, that is brilliant, well done. :D

I have had a pretty bad day, only exercise was about 50 minutes' walk (with heavy shopping but still!). I did 70 lunges and some weights, that's all for today. Foodwise, I had a big work lunch with only fatty options (and I had dessert, bad!!!!!!).

To make up for it I had a roasted veg wrap with a little halloumi for dinner, and a couple of satsumas afterwards. Not a total disaster, but could really have been better. I'd intended to go for a run but friends called round after dinner and have only just left.

I am measuring everything on Saturday so fingers crossed for even a 1/4 inch loss!

Well done to those that have lost weight this week.

For dinner I had 8 large oven chips (non greasy), one chicken cordon bleu, frozen peas followed by my out of date weightwatchers rice pudding.

Am still struggling here - I am going on holiday on Monday, so I'm doing the rounds before I go and everyone is trying to 'treat' me to high calorie tit-bits. Added to which I am so exhausted with trying to get things done that I'm just grabbing whatever food come to hand, and then relaxing in the evening with the aid of a glass of red :o

I am trying, tho, and I am still hoping to lose a bit more weight before Monday (I'm giving myself an extra couple of days in January, and then hopping straight over to the February thread) but to be honest if I can manage to stay under 12 stone this month, I'll be grateful

Are you going anywhere nice for your hols Daisy?

I think I will lose weight through shivering - a huge cold snap is expected next week:eek:

Am trying to eat better and have discovered the benefits of wholemeal bread (it fills me up).

I am going to Turkey - for THREE WEEKS!!!

I suffer terribly in the cold and I've been really struggling this winter - the weather is forecast to be around 17 degrees where we are going, so when my mate and I got a cheapo last minute deal we decided to go for it :D

I just hope I can continue losing while we are away - but on past experience my health will be tons better in the warmer climate, which means I will be more mobile, and so more active, and so find it easier to lose weight (that's my theory and I'm sticking to it!)

Oooh very nice! Do you want me to set up March's 7 pound club near the end of February and you take back over in April?

Help me, I need motivation. I went to the gym today and did 20 minutes' interval training, weights and 50 lunges, but it was all very half hearted. :(

Foodwise, I'm glad I've got a ton of satsumas as I have eaten about 8 of them today!!! Breakfast was oatcakes and yogurt, lunch was leftover veg pasta from last night and dinner was more veg pasta. I think I'm getting down because I'm not seeing any real changes in myself. I measured myself earlier - no change. I might have to bite the bullet and buy some scales...
