  • I was too gutted to post yesterday, I gained 3lbs. It was totally my fault I have not been eating proper meals but snacking on crisps and sandwiches. I am so angry I had nearly 2 weeks to lose 2lbs to reach the half stone and blew it.

Sooo onwards and upwards for next month. I will weigh on Saturday and use that as the end Jan start Feb Challenge.

    must stay positive and organised:o

Oh hugs glitterball - but as you say next week starts another month, provided you stay positive and don't think "I've blown it I will eat for Europe" you should be fine!

Am afraid to say I fell off the wagon and ate cake - in fact have eaten too much cake:rolleyes: Its pure laziness.

I had the last slice of homemade quiche last night with the remaining salad leaves, fresh tomato and the last of the beetroot. Tried to drink the beetroot vinegar but decided it was a step too far because it was...well you can imagine.

I will try and be good tomorrow.

Did a lot of walking today and hopped on and off buses (lots of walking in between) so that should help.

I gave up on the challenge part way through when it all went a bit wrong :(

I'm definitely back in for February though :)

    glitterball - that's the spirit!

Horace - put the cake behind you, you will be fine.

I walked about 15,000 steps yesterday AND went to the gym, I am very pleased with myself. OH made another slightly fattening dinner but I had a smallish portion (on a small plate too!).

I got such a chocolate craving last night too but didn't give in (nearly though)!! I have, however, eaten industrial amounts of satsumas. Today will be challenging as I have a work lunch. Must try not to eat too much!!!

I am back to eating breakfast. I hate breakfast as I always feel queazy in the morning (no I am NOT pregnant, before anyone asks...... ;)) But I do find that on the weeks that I stick carefully to the breakfast rule, I do lose weight.

I am also drinking green tea, as apparently it boosts your metabolism.

I still have five days as I'm using the Monday weigh-in as my last day of January, as it is the day before I go on my hols (yipeeeee!)

I finished off the cake this morning - it is now behind me:j

Breakfast - last of cake and mug of coffee:eek:
Lunch - cheese & tomato sandwich made with wholemeal bread
Dinner - not decided yet, it may even be some soup and bread.

Oh and I have a weightwatchers rice pudding to eat as it is either close to its sell by date or past it:eek:
  • Well done everyone!

Forgot to post on Monday but weighed in and lost -3lbs! That makes -9lbs altogether. :j

Really pleased but also now worried that I am losing it too fast and it is muscle rather than fat that is disappearing. I have been to the gym loads though and have been eating really healthily apart from a bit of choccie everyday which stops me from going mad and bingeing! I want it to slow down a bit In Feb though so I am losing about 1-2lbs per week. According to Calorie Count I still have another 24lbs to go and should be at target by July!

Had my measurements etc done at the gym and I have 33% body fat and maximum I should have is 28% so a fair way to go but a good start for me. Going to do one more weigh in for Jan then start on the Feb thread.
