Well done to all those who have lost weight, Horace in particular. 12lbs, that is amazing. I'm sure coming back lighter than you went away makes the end of the holiday a joy rather than a pain!!

To those who gained, don't lose heart!!!!!! Keep at it, we will achieve our goals!

Bunny200, which DVDs were in the box set?

So far today I have had porridge and a handful of grapes. I wasn't even hungry TBH but am going to eat 3 times per day, just way smaller portions. The hoodia is my new weight loss weapon, darn why did I not try it before. I've also walked 3,400 steps so far and am going to the gym at lunchtime.

It was the Power of 3 and My Three 30 Minute Workouts which got from TheHut.com
http://www.thehut.com/hut/8561296.product as that seemed the cheapest place, although delivery took about a week(it was free!). One thing I quite liked about them was that she was hurting too!! Sometimes you watch these dvds and you know that its been edited and they have only just started moving after having a rest and their make-up is perfect, whereas this one shes moaning and grunting like me (although maybe not as much as she's been going longer:rotfl: ) and she ends up sweaty. I did think listening to Davina would be annoying but I've done 2 now and its ok, in fact on the 30 minute dvd you can turn her off!!!

Might get her SuperBody one when I've gotten bored with these ones! She seems to have a good reputation for exercise dvds, although there are so many around now. Have you seen the one with Claire from Steps,I couldn't believe how large she had got:eek: I didn't regonise her. She weighed as much as I did when I first started WW!Hope she keeps it off....

I have put on the two pounds I lost so I am back to where I started from at the beginning of January! Ummm do you think I can lose 7 pounds in this coming week? :o:p:o

Dragon, there is still almost two weeks left of January, so there is still time!

Only 1lb loss for me this week. But I've had quite a stressful week and I know I haven't really put my best effort in. Having said that, normally I'd have completely taken my eye off the ball and almost certainly would have gained weight this week, so I can live with 1lb loss.

It does mean that I'm going to have to really get focussed now though. Maybe I should take the exercise DVD out of its cellophane..... :p

Has anyone tried that DVD? It looks good, but I have a habit of buying these DVDs and only using them once or twice, so I'd be interested to hear people's comments.

Yes, I was so shocked and then so impressed that she managed to lose it. I wonder how she did it? Was it all sensible methods or did she have a personal trainer/chef to help?

Thanks for the review of Davina's DVDs, I have heard them recommended before.

Well done again to the losers! :D I feel a bit left out as I am not weighing myself... I will get a set of scales in time for February's challenge!!

Today's lunch was HM veg soup, very tasty. I finished almost the whole portion (normally I would lick the bowl clean and have bread or a roll with it!). I had 2 grapes afterwards and am feeling very stuffed!!!

And... I went to the gym at lunchtime! I bit the bullet and decided to rejoin the gym near work. It is expensive but I managed to get a £7/month discount and they waived the joining fee! :T And it will be worth every penny if I lose the weight. Today was my induction visit but I managed to get through that quickly and then went and did a half-hour workout. I feel goooooood.

Breakfast this morning was a glass of orange juice followed by coffee:rolleyes: Lunch today was a small baguette containing 3 kinds of seeds with some leftover lean roast beef from dinner yesterday.

I am chuffed at the weight loss over my hols (sorting out a new suitcase and putting in a claim is the pain). I am thinking that if I put on my waist thinning pants from primark that I might just try the jeans on that OH bought on the market, when I tried them I couldnt do them up and he has a bigger waist than me yet he managed it:rolleyes: Drove to the village this morning but had a good walk around and I shall nip out later to the postbox - its a fair old walk.
