I think the DRO unit are being a bit slow. I'm still waiting for applications that I submitted Tuesday to be approved, yet had an approval email through this afternoon for one I did yesterday lunchtime! Nooo idea.

If it's an 06 then they will use the 'private poor' valuation from parkers, why can you only find 53 plates?

Have you looked in the Autotrader? If a 53 reg is £1300, it's almost certain an 06 would be higher value than £1000, and so if you were the legal owner then you wouldn't be entitled to a DRO.

DROs will be approved before the signatures are received don't worry. The insolvency service have been a bit slow this week. I only had approval for one I did tuesday lunchtime late this afternoon, so I would expect yours to be Monday or Tuesday at the latest. It may be that something on the application triggered a manual check instead of being automatically processed which obviously delays it a bit.

The insolvency register itself isn't updated straight away so don't rely on that.

Mobile phones will be likely to cancel the contract if a debt to them is included in the DRO but the phone will remain yours. As for catalogues unless the goods are rented or the debt secured on goods (hire purchase etc) then no they can't.
