I am still struggling to sleep a full night as at the moment I am tending to wake up every hour and a half - 2 hours which is a bit of a pain, but I am sure that will right itself soon ( I hope) I give myself a little talking to on a morning before I get out of bed , just saying " I will not smoke today " I must admit I am completely obssessed with no smoking now. I think about it constantly but in a nice way if you know what I mean. In a sort of "Thank God I dont do that anymore " kind of way, and I can smell someone smoking miles away, which I never noticed when I smoked, its mad !
Keep going everyone !

Hi I think thats how we must have smelt to all non smokers - eewwwwww. I could never smell it before but now I can. Its worse if youre stood in a shop or somewhere and someone stands behind you whos just had a fag. It isnt very nice it all . Congrats on entering week 2 by the way, thats some achievement !0

well day 8 counts as entering week 2 i think! hope i'm not cheating. Sometimes i feel like i'm only on day 1, other times i feel like i'm on day 365! i just can't explain it. i'm sure it will all calm down soon.
Someone sat next to me on the train this morning who stunk of smoke. it actually made me feel sick. My OH still smokes and i can't stand the smell on her breath. We stopped smoking in the house about 18 months ago so at least we don't smell.Mortgage overpayments 2009

You are doing so well ! I am lucky in that my hubby has never smoked but I feel really bad now of what he has had to put up with over the years from my filthy addiction. I used to smoke in the kitchen with the window open and he would be shivering his wotsits off ! Also I was the one who used to say " Oh I will just have this fag then I will do this, or Im going for fag whenever we were somewhere where I couldnt smoke. I always put the cigs first, and I am ashamed of that I must admit. It must be so hard doing this whilst living with a smoker , does your OH go outside when she wants one ?0

Hi, i had my last cigarette on monday at 7pm, i was smoking 25 a day, more when i was working nights, im using the lozenges which are good but im finding im thirsty all the time and im now starting with a sore throat. I dont feel like i want a cigarette at the minute and hope i carry on not wanting one.0

My mood is great, I've had comments on how chirpy I am, lol.
But my throat is doing my head in now. I am going to buy a lemon tonight and have some warm water with honey and lemon regularly, that should help.0 -
well the fact that when she comes back inside she stinks its actually making it easier, as long as she isn't smoking infront of me its fine. There is no smoking in our household or in the car! It was like that when we both smoked and it will always remain like that. nothing like having smelly clothes and furniture!Mortgage overpayments 2009

Good luck Linz, just keep on at it. what method are you using? just think, its nearly thursday! so thats a good reason to hold on. After three full days 90% of nicotine has left your body so after this, its all about beating the mind and overpowering it. good luck, keepand enjoying this truely marvelous journey
