    Hello everybody

Im pleased to report Im still smoke free. Had a bit of a wobble last night but, stayed strong and I came through it.

On the subject of weight gain. I dont want to brag but, Ive actually lost a stone in weight. Ive read quite a few books on stopping smoking, and must be one of the few that managed to lose it. I have (when feeling up to it), been going on my new fitness games console.

After christmas Im going to be putting all my quit cash into blasting my debts away.

Stick with it everyone, beleive in yourseves you can suceed.

    Best wishes

    WOOHOO :j:j:j

I have now officially been a non smoker for 3 weeks, 0 days, 0 minutes, 0 seconds lol

In that time I have not smoked 840 ciggies and not spent £260 on them little sticks :T

I have forgotten to take a couple of the evening champix over the last couple of weeks...but Friday I forgot to take any at all, I was just about to pop one but thought i would save it until the morning.

I am soooo pleased with myself, and well done to all other quitters who reach milestones :)

Sue - I put it in my signature - hope that is what you mean?

Hi larmy, no I meant had you put your total savings on the other day when you were on. I haven't checked, but sparky does the counting up on his spreadsheet and has Numbers v Totals on it so it'll soon show up on there and won't allow him to put it on twice. Re putting it in your signature, that's served it's purpose now - (though don't tell me it was there last night?! What a twit not to look! Me not you). I need a long sleep. :embarasse Leave it on your signature if you wish to, otherwise it can go off. I'm soon going to bed!!! ;)

Hiya Jojo! I honestly believe that's one of the most positive posts I've ever read of yours and it's a real credit to you and the determination you've found. Maybe the fitness games console, whatever you think's best - do it - and gain from it. Talking of gaining, well done on losing the stone!!! So long as you weren't a stick insect before!! :rotfl: It was so good to hear you'd got over a wobble - congratulations Jojo!!! :T:j:T Keep as positive about your debts as you are about quitting and - the sky's the limit!!! :D

What can I say Ross apart from, that is such excellent news!!! :T Where milestones are concerned with smokers, even half an hour is one, so is that first morning, day...and then week. It's a horrible, evil habit so milestones to a smoker who is giving up can be the smallest of times. The quitter in progress knows that, it's just non-smokers that don't understand it the way we do. You and Jojo and all the others have accomplished so much even if it's a small time - as you say it's a milestone!!! :) That's why we all encourage each other to be very proud, no matter how far each has come, it's pride that can help them continue on along that road with a real buzz!

Regarding the missed Champix pills, maybe Daz or Alan can advise you there, all I'd say is - be careful!

Have a really good weekend all you non-smokers, keep that pride close, you deserve it. Aren't you all glad you aren't freezing bits off out there this year!!!!!! :j:j:j:j

Fantastic news Ross, and it good to see how happy you are about it :T:T:T

Judging by the amounts you posted, you was as heavy a smoker as I was so very well done.

I quite Champix a month early, I did not mean to I just forgot to take it a couple of times.

Ross - I can barely believe it is 3 weeks already! Fantastic news and well done to you. I bet you feel so pleased and happy. It is such a wonderful achievement for you.

I do forget sometimes just how brilliantly I have done (without being too big headed) as I had such an psychological attatchment to the chemical.

Dazco ... Thankyou, I am very happy and can not believe it has been 3 weeks already, I used to smoke around 40 a day everyday ... not good for a 27 year old

I have been on the Champix only for a month and have forgotten to take the evening dose on a couple of occasions, but completely forgot to take any yesterday (i am the worlds worst for taking tablets .... not good for a nurse lol)

Sue I completely agree - it starts of as 'Yay ive gone a whole day' to 'yay ive done a week' soon i can say 'yay ive gone a month'

JoJo I have done the same i bought a new fitness game for the Wii, i got fitness first personal trainer lol although i have not gained nor lost any weight through giving up :j

Can I just take this opportunity to personally thank every single person who is on this board and who is here to help others through their quit process and whom remain here to help others, I do not want to mention individuals as everyone here does a fantastic job, its things like this that restore my faith in humanity and remind me that there are good people out there .. I salute you all :T

I loved my dreams, in fact I might start taking the ones I have left and get back into the dreams :rotfl::rotfl:

The cravings I got were more to do with association. Getting in the car , playing a video game, drinking a brew etc.

It is an amazing little pill.:T:T:T
