The Giving Up Smoking Thread!! Part 2

Tomorrow is the day. Off I go again
Actually pretty chipper about the whole thing. I have 10 smokes left and then patching up.
I watched the c5 celebrity quitting program and they appear to be wearing patches and taking inhaler things as well. Is that common practice - I thought it was onloy 1 or the other?
Anyways, good luck all - I will update as soon as I need a rant.
PS...Mrs Lewki says "oh no not again" - she desperately wants me to stop but is concerned that 1) I will get mood swings (to which I replied "welcome to my world". I was presented with one of her raised eyebrows at that comment and 2) it will take me ages to get to sleep and that I will be telling everyone about my dreams!! I responded saying "that she fulfiled my dreams" to which out came the other eyebrow, followed by a frown and then something muttered as she walked away
Anyways - looking forward to tomorrow!!0 -
LEWKI- It's perfectly fine to be using the patch with another nicotine replacement product (e.g. chewing gum, lozenge, nasal spray, inhalator). Lots of people find the inhalator is a good one as it gives them something to fiddle with when times are tough.0
-
Thanks Roxanne - as a rule I try very hard not to fiddle with things when times are tough rofl
But seriously I will get myself a secondary replacement - inhalator could be the answer. I will keep you posted0 -

My ex decided to discribe in detail about his new bit of stuff and the hiccys on his neck this afternoon which sent me over the edge. We have only been broke two days for god sake! I brought a pack of 10 and chain smoked every single one of them
The thing is I really enjoyed it.
I wanna get back on track now and really try and focus. I will use this thread as my motivaton. Oh I feel so ashamed of myself for not staying strong.Smoke free since 19/01/110 -
