hi to all! just wanted to say, i have been to bbq with my alloted soft drinks, had a good time and not bothered that wine was flowing, just kept to my drinks, headache has gone! and was very pleased that two different people both said that my stomach didn't look as bloated as it usually does!! which i think was a compliment - due to all the cider i put away, must have been getting a beer belly. so 3 af days for me, as i am off to bed, good night and good luck to everyone tonight.

Well done Jo-jo- sorely tested but you came through. Fay- you've reminded me about the state of my bedrooms- had various kids over easter for sleepovers and generally wrecking the place and I don't know where to start- my bathrooms a disgrace.

Good luck tommorrow everyone- some absentee members being missed at the moment?

Well done sleepyjo on your AF Sat and how other people have already noticed a positive change in your after a few AF days! Come and gain the benefits of a few more!

Well done Fay for keeping yourself busy and purse hidden away! Congrats to another one who is AF on a Sat night! Hope you and OH are better today and he is behaving himself too.

Well AF for me as expected - will start to feel weird to have a drink next weekend at this rate! Felt a bit tempted by everyone going out to the pub in the sun on a Sat evening but I had no choice as I was driving.

    AFD 11/19 all achieved now!

Well good morning everyone :) Another alcohol free day for me. I went to the wedding and didn't have 1 drink alcoholic drink, Infact I didn't even want one. The problem I did have which I will remember for again is, I drank that much coke I couldn't get to sleep last night, I was high as a kite. I rolled around the bed for hours and woke at the crack of dawn I.E 7 O'clock despite only getting to sleep around 3'ish.

    Hi

Not posted much lately but have been following and well done to nirelandguy and sleepyjo for AF Saturday nights last night :T:T

As some of you may know I have been sorting out one side of my life recently. Namely the financial side and that seems to be settled down a bit at the moment in namely I have no debt as I went bankrupt.

It is now time to sort out the other side ie the drink :o

I have decided that I will not be buying anymore drink to keep in the house as I drink it all even if I buy 12 cans for 1 night. I will have the odd drink when I am out which , if anything like last year, will be a grand total of 5 nights a year .

I am now on day 7 ( in a row ) AF and feel good.

Hope you are all well and I wish you all a lovely Sunday. Working later but will have a chance to keep an eye on the footie. Come on Utd
