Hi Everyone :hello:
Now I am going to aim for a very quick post as I have a million and one things to do. As the rabbit in Alice in Wonderland says: "Oh dear, Oh dear I shall be late". No I haven't lost the plot (yet) my thinking is: Rabbit Easter theme.
Firstly Dear Lurky not totally sure what BIMBLING is? But I will have none of it in MayHope you and the Lovely Esther and the family are well? Take care, enjoy Easter but don't eat too much chocolate
. xxxxx
Fedup Hugs and I am glad to hear that your mood is lifting, I hope you have a lovely Easter Weekend and please look after yourself. Lots love xxxxx
Jo everyone on here loves you and we so want you to do well, as Dear Mp says: YOU ARE SPECIAL. I have an idea for May which I hope will motivate you to stay af? I do have more to say but I feel it may not be appropriate, it is so hard sometimes posting and knowing how to word things in the correct way. I am a tactile person but that doesn't work on a virtual forum. I will give this more thought? Sorry if I am not making alot of sense? But you are on my mind quite alot at the moment along with Dear Winebox and alot of others that are struggling. So take care sweetheart, lots of love and have a lovely Easter. Hugs xxxxx
40sm Hugs and yes we have all been there, so be extra strong today to stay af. Lots of love xxxxx

Morning all,
BHB, I want some of your postive'ness!! Not a wine drinker so don't think there's much point in me trying out the AF wines. OH bought a couple of bottles of Sholer (sp?) as it's on offer in Mr T's for DD1 but I don't fancy that either, not really into soft sweet drinks so I don't know what to 'replace' beer with
Don't replace it with anything. You have to change that mindset.
You need to change yourself, not just what drink you drinkGetting fed up with the groundhog day life I've got at the moment, need a step up the ladder to get motivated and going. I also feel bad posting on here as you must all think I'm flogging a dead horse as I'm always on the wagon/off the wagon/on/off/on/off etc etc, feel great/feel low, it never stops and I don't know where I am half the time.
Feeling okay, in myself, just getting frustrated with myself
I love you posting - positive or negative. Do not stop as it is valuable for you and also valuable for us to know how difficult to stop drinking when alcoholic.
It gives everyone hope, so keep writing, even if you don't feel like it. I imagine it is fairly cathartic too
Perhaps you need to change your approach to stopping drinking. If it's not working, why persevere with it?
TBH that's classic alcoholic behaviour - doing the same thing (like drinking) again and again, expecting a different outcome.
Good luck Jo and keep writing0 -

Not a wine drinker so don't think there's much point in me trying out the AF wines.
We have Bitburger Drive too, next best thing to the beer I reckon ... though as cold as you can get it!
Re mince - we cook ours quite often from frozen, but then we know where its come from and when it was frozen as its from our animals .
I guess mince is one of the few things I would cook from frozen as it goes into really small pieces when its cooking an d hence MUST be cooked by the time you eat it if you cook it for 30-40 mins.
GC. I think if I didn't replace it with something initially, I would cave within a day or too. Last year I did 'get out of the habit' of replacing when I stopped for a few weeks, but really don't think I can do it without a substitute at the moment. So playing it a bit safe for the time being. Having said that, I can really see your reasoning.

Re: The May AF Challenge, well I have had an idea but now I am wondering if it is going to work out? Also how it will be received by the other members. BsNtc where are you in my time of crisis? Help and please post soonxxxxxx
Noynoy forgot to say in my earlier post that I hope you too are feeling better now? Hugs xxxxx
Stroppy glad to see you back, please do post its even more of a reason to do so when things are not going so well to get the support you need. Lots love and hugs xxxxx
As anyone else been to the supermarket today? It was heaving when I went, found myself in a queue that was down the wine isle  There was an assistant aka bouncer keeping everyone in line. Whilst I was queuing Mr BB caught me looking at the wine, he asked if I was going to have a bottle? To which I replied NO I WAS LOOKING IF ANY WERE AF :A Tomorrow I will be on 100 days af for this year and do you know what I am very proud of myself, because I never thought I could go so long without a drink.
I am determined to try and help others that are struggling, just racking my brains on the best way to do this? But I will not give up and I really pationately want people to succeed.
So back to thinking about this.
Really everyone please take care and remember as Gc says just decide not to have a drink today and then tomorrow when you get out of bed think to yourself I won't have a drink today. It is suprising how this can work for you. You can have a drink just choose not to.
Sorry if I've rambled on again, its the same when I did my Secret Millioniare post a couple of weeks back, it really did motivate me to try and get over how important it is to try and stop drinking. But please all of you on here, know that you are important to me and I just want you all to be well and happy in your lives.
Ok going now lots a love
