Oooooooeeeerrr.....
OK - No alcohol since Sunday and now I have a headache! .... Bigtime!. Though we ran out of tea and coffee yesterday too, so that might be part of it.
Guess I'm just trying to see how many things I can give up in one week:
One of my jobs, anti depressants, alcohol, caffeine ...... spending :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
Luckily Mrs BHB's money has come through this morning so she has just come back from a shopping trip to Mr T's ...... WE HAVE TEA AND COFFEE .... Horah!
NO wine or beer I hasten to add, but some very nice cherry flavoured herbal tea.........Though not as nice as the much needed cup of coffee this morning!
Have a great day everyone and don't eat too much choccy over the weekend
:EasterBun
Best Wishes

Morning all,
Fedup, hope you're feeling better today hun
Lurks, great to have you back!
BHB, sorry hun, forgot that us admin'ers walk out of the building and don't think about it again till we have to return!!Glad to hear you've got some tea and coffee in, I literally wouldn't get out of bed if I had no coffee!! Has Mrs BHB quit the booze too? You be careful giving everything up at the sametime xx
Shoppy!! I'm so glad to hear your news xx A beautiful little boy, how exciting! Doesn't make me at all broody, I think I must finally really be over all that baby malarky! Although that is the one thing that would make me abstain from the booze! Good luck and keep us posted xx
HS (got it right this time!), still on 2 I'm afraid.
Gotta go out now, taking the kids out for the day up to one of the London Museums, be back later and AF

GC, I forgot to say, was thinking about this last night. I posted you a message a week or so ago, don't know if you saw it but I wanted to ask you...
How did you manage to change yourself so that you no longer need to drink? You said it is your approach, you no longer need it in your life and you are happy with that, what changes did you put into place?

In fact, I'll let you into a little secret, happyshopper isn't actually my real name. In fact, it's a ridiculously ill-chosen moniker seeing as I loathe shopping with a vengeance (fay, living on an island with no easy access to shops sounds like heaven to me!) and am chronically misanthropic and pessimistic. In my head, I am the female Charlie Brooker (without the talent, or the TV show, or..).

Wish I could say the same......why CAN'T I stop once I've started? Ended up having loads, saw apprentice but only cos I'd already fallen asleep & woke up at 9! Somewhere along the line I actually mowed the front & back lawns a job I detest so the day wasn't wasted even if I was.
Hope you all have a great weekend (& loads of choc!!!!)0 -

Yup that's where it came from way back when, used to live across the road from one. Never had much imagination but at least I didn't name myself after the, ahem, lady of the night who lived on the other corner.
EDIT: the wonders of wikipedia tell me the fellow in the happyshopper logo is called Jim....nothing to see here...0
