Just got in from boxercise and it seems to be getting harder or I am getting older? But I feel totally pooped.

BsNtc I see you are leading the way on the icons again my dear, and yes I have sent my Ds his Easter gift. It contains goodies which include a GIANT egg, large Lindt bunnies, chocolate button chicks, mallow bunnies etc and some Easter lollies. All choccy goodies, I just hope that they get there in one piece. I have sent it by parcel force and guaranteed in 48 hrs. If he were coming home I wanted to do an Easter hamper wrapped in cello etc, but he needs to find a new place to live by the 22nd as his lease is up on his flat. So he is staying in London to sort that out. I have done some Easter baskets though for a couple of young children who live a few doors away.I am really pleased with them and I am wrapping them in cello with a big yellow bow, they have bunny ears and everything. :cool: Oh and Mr BB has some goodies too which are wrapped in cello. (My new addiction) I see you are on 2 af days, well done but I will be pushing for more in May. As we are doing lunch so to speak I will pm you nearer to the time and let you into my secret if you want? Grahame Carter, thankyou for your kind words and yes I do agree that if you are trying to help others stay af then it does help greatly in helping yourself to stay af also. Btw I will be chasing you for my May af challenge? All will be revealed and you are not the only one I will be chasing either? Though now you are getting fitter I may not catch you? Winebox glad you have stayed af and re: the tanin poisoning, I have a pond in the garden, we were trying to cure an algae problem and you can get straw parcels to help with this. So my father thought he would go one better and turned up with a bale of straw. Which he weighted down in my pond, HOWEVER the water went brown. I rang a pond supplier who informed me that this was due to too much tannins. :eek: We had to empty the pond which is very large and refill. We are also on a water meter it took hours and hours :eek: We now have a mega uv to combat the problem. But I have never forgotten our tea like pond and how the poor fish must have felt. Gosh Budgie that tested my eyesight!
Am in bed now (don't panic I've got my nightie on!) made it through day 2 yay! Still awake at this time! I'm pleased cos usually any afd is cos I'm too hungover or busy to really want a drink & when I'm sorely tempted I usually just...give in. But I REALLY wanted one (6 lge ones) today so glad to have held off.
Hope everyone else OK tonight x

I'm 45 and can't believe it - I keep countin on my fingers 1963, 73, 83, 93 plus the odd year, I feel like someone's added another decade without my noticing

BudgetBabe will you be my mummy - your Easter pressie sounds great, I keep buying eggs for my bunch - I now have 15 assorted eggs for 3 kids.
I only like one sort of Easter egg - Cadburys Buttons - and there are hardly any in the shops these days - I'm a woman of cheap tastes
OH has finally found one for me - the last one in the the shop so it's a bit battered but beats nothing
I'm glad you sorted your fonts, I nearly had to dig out my bifocals

I think I've finally notched up number 2 AFD - 15 minutes to go

Mollypolly - AF pear cider sounds lovely! ( I kept winning cases of pear cider on the comps board and got rather addicted to the stuff a while ago!!)

Nirelandguy I know where you're coming from re the hangovers. I used to shake them off fairly quickly in my younger days. The last couple of years though its got harder and harder. However, a little while ago on one saturday I got through two bottles of wine and no sign of a hangover the next day. I took that as a bad omen and started cutting down then.

Anyway....could someone shoot me please? I have yet ANOTHER cold and sore throat. I think that makes about four colds and one stomach bug so far this year and it just ain't funny. Think I need a supplement or something. Feel a trip to H & B coming on.
