Glad to hear my hangover has some uses, I can always serve as a bad example. For once I have added up my units for last night, and it was 12. I always knew I was drinking multiples of the recommended allowance, looks like I managed 3 times the advised daily max for women last night.

NTC, thanks for your post about it being likely to be an AFD then, I was surprised by a couple of emotions to that one, guilt as I often want to drink by the evening after. And that made me feel one of those sick to my stomach, uh, oh I really have a problem moments.

Molly Polly, thanks for the idea of lime cordial with sparkling water.
40somethingmu, I found out I like both slimline tonic and soda water (individually) On my AFD on Monday I tried the Feel good cranberry and lime spritz which I thought has a lovely taste and nice red colour. It's about £1.90 a bottle so not very mse.

Noynoy, that is so unfair when you've been AF, hope you feel much better soon, and well done.

Woohoo, morning YM, luverly to see you in here :D Thanks for the birthday wishes :)

Wasn't AF last night so still on 2 HS thank you. Will be AF today though hopefully, planning a quick dinner and got a couple of mags to read and want to stay awake for the end of the apprentice! Plus might take the kids up London tomorrow to a museum or something so need to feel like I want to actually do it tomorrow!!

Morning to everyone, sounds as though we are all happy in here today, whether we've been AF or not which is great. Although I've not been doing too well on the challenge this month I'm quite pleased with things I've achieved in general, had a few long overdue appointments I had to make, had to sort the finances and had a few things I wanted to do with the kids, which I'm doing over this 2 weeks, so my head will be less cluttered with stuff and I'm feeling more positive about everything.

Right, taking the kids out to the park now as the weather's supposed to be okay today, see you all later xx

**noynoy, are you sure you're not on 3? I already had you down for 2.

Managed another AFD yesterday despite going out to eat with friends, am finally on a bit of a roll. Was rudely awakened at crack of dawn today by a cat punching me in the face. I wouldn't mind, but it wasn't even my cat.. budget babe, don't understand how you can wrap eggs in a cello. winebox, it's tea all the way for me too, don't much like fizzy drinks. Apart from pear cider..mmm....damn! Going to be thinking about pear cider all day now. Hi YM, have friends who have done that and it completely changed their lives for the better.
    ...nothing to see here...

    Hello everyone,

lovely to read all the positive posts. I had a glass of wine last night but only one so went to bed thinking that I knew I would wake up feeling good in the morning - made a nice change. So Happy, still on 3.

Am going away for easter this evening so will catch up again on Monday. I'm aiming on having at least a couple of AF days as I am beginnig to feel a bit anxious and I think it's the alcohol.

take care everyone and be kind to yourselves.
