Well done to everyone AF or CD

2 for me finally:rolleyes: I have got used to seeing a nicely crossed off calendar at this stage in the month but its looking a bit blank so I need to crack on a bit to hit this months target.
Its gorgeous again here today and I know Miss piggy you are right about this being a trigger it certainly is for me (particularly reading a chic lit book like mamam I guess the truth is that LIFE is a trigger so its up to us to change that.

    Happy birthday Jo:j
Yipee I was AF last night, and I'm really happy! I had got into a habit of not drinking in the week, just the weekend but then a few things came up and before I knew it I was back to a bottle of wine a night:eek:
I can't believe how quickly I slipped back to old ways, but I know now that I can do it, so this week I need to keep busy and break the habit (again:rolleyes:) so its swimming for me today with the kids that should tire me out, and then off to the supermarket for lots of pop.

Hope everyone has a great day x

Morning! Late in today - flat battery (didn't shut my door properly) so had to get a jump start then drive round & round hoping to charge it enough for when I go home!

This is very lazy but I find myself agreeing with almost every word of every post of the last 2 pages!! So I'll just say that rather than go through & quote virtually all of them.

Except I must say congrats to MP & Many Happies to Jo.

HappyS finally got day 1 under my too-tight belt woowoo.

wbf - you too! well done! :T.

Today will be much harder.....feeling far better than yesterday also don't have to get up in the morning.......but am TRYING for Day 2 it's been too long......

Hp another af day for me please when you do the scores I am on 6 so half of clicky tee click. Hope all is well with you? Take care and catch you tomorrow. Gotta say though you can't half go on that bike of yours ;) Lots love n hugs. xxxxx

Crikey, have you been following me? Picked dozens of bits of glass out of my tyres at the weekend, London gutters seem so full of smashed windscreens at the mo.

Walked into a pub last night and did a massive double take as David Mitchell of Peep Show was sitting directly opposite the door and I think he's fab. Managed not to gawp too much, and just had an orange juice so am up to 2, hoorah. Great to see some others off the mark too. And huge congrats to mollypolly, really v. impressive. And happy birthday Jo too.
    ...nothing to see here...

    Morning all :)

CONGRATULATIONS MP, my biggest inspiration in cyberspace :D Enjoy your AF wine this evening, look forward to un-hung-over-ness tomorrow :)

Thanks so much to all for the birthday wishes, trying to forget it all now that I'm on the very slippery slope towards the big 40!! (No disrespect to anyone nearer to 40 or past it :D)

Thanks also to those that asked my whereabouts, I've been here, just trying not to make too much of a big deal of not drinking...didn't work (HS I'm now on 2 of 6 thanks hun :))

Still, today I am un-hung-over'ed and will probably be going out somewhere with the kids as we're both off work and all off school so don't know where we're off to, maybe bowling or something. If not we'll be doing that and the zoo and the museums at somepoint over the next few days so I need to stay sober to have the energy!!

I'll try and get back for some personals a bit later, DS is mithering me to get on here so I'd better keep the peace!

Speak to you all later xx

Just wanted to say happy birthday mollypolly, I'm not around much these days but you really helped me out a few times and I'm grateful. Eight months dry now and you played a part so thanks again and have a great day.

hmmmm...this is harder than I expected......survived the shop on the way home......though joked about going back for some wine later. I hope I'll be too embarassed to actually do it. Got the car plugged into battery charger to put it off at least for a while. MP do you want some practice with that whip to celebrate your anni? I've just got to get thro to 6pm then I'm safe. Only 3 hours.......

hi ntc! thanx for the vibes!. The car got me home OK so it will start any time it's just that [STRIKE][/STRIKE]mr I know it all[STRIKE][/STRIKE]OH said I should charge it cos I only ever do v short journeys. But I feel the crisis passing a bit...wondering if it might be the kudzu...had it for weeks but keep forgetting about it so not used it much at all but threw some down about 1/2 hour ago. Gosh!! Or maybe it's your vibes. Or the thought of MP....off for a cuppa!
