    Hi everyone,

Well I didnt start April well.....0 for me so far
Overslept this morning for the first time in ages...alarm didnt go off, kids were still asleep and I had major panic mode on! Only 30 mins to get 3 kids up, ready for school and out the door!Managed to get them there just in time!
Feel really tired today....I hate having to leap out of bed like that, its upset my whole kilter for the day!:(

wbf, that's 5 of us on the same target. Glad to see us cutters-down well represented. Wasn't AF yesterday and ended up with a headache and very dehydrated this morning (keep forgetting how much more wine affects me these days). This strengthened my resolve which is weakening as the hungover feeling goes. Definitely planning AF tonight. I will! I will!

know exactly what you mean re the tolerance dropping. I think I am finally a bit of light weight (although the scales say different!!!)

Going for 16 this month again but I can see a flaw in this plan when I add up the number of social events where I will be wanting to have a drink:eek: but its good for me to push myself as I hate having easy targets. Got to be AF today as am off for a jaunt this weekend and with the crowd I am going with I suspect a couple of drams may pass my lips.

Budgie dont worry Im not going anywhere yet. I need the push of reporting my successes and oopsys here or I suspect I would spiral back down and anyway Id miss you all. I may not be leaping out of bed panicking about the list though that pleasure I leave to Happy.:D

Its absolutely gorgeous weather here totally blue sky and with blue sky comes a trigger for me to sit in the garden with a good book and a glass of wine. Funny but tea just doesnt seem to hack it for me but unless I can plan the weather to rain for 16 days this month then I will have to get over it.

So as I never like to tempt fate too much I will report a rather pathetic O so far for April with a possible last minute surge through the starting post.
Hope the going is dry for everyone (sorry I know that was bad:o)

Hi Maman, I didn't mean to ignore others on the same target, in fact I hadn't realised there were 5 of us, that's good. 10 is obviously a popular number.

My comment was because I'd noticed Winebox and I had the same target last month; my first one one in this challenge. I felt slightly less bad about my struggle because there was someone else on the same numbers who was similar to me which helped me keep posting.

Cheers and good luck with tonight. My wine bells are already ringing which is very early.

    :hello: wbf

seems we're as bad as each other! not something to brag about.......

like you the next 3 nights are no hopers & tonight also "off" but hey, it's the New Year on Monday! Now at bottom of barrel (unfortunate metaphor) re the "start dates" ....Jan 1st, chinese new year, valentines-i-love-my-liver-day, 1st day of spring, british summer time, 1st of each month, now reduced to the financial NY to make new start.

seem to be quite a few of us not "doing it" on 1st of month..april fools all of us eh?

who's on for eastenders tonight?...............i always ignore the spoilers as, funnily enough, it spoils it for me, but even I have seen loads but they all contradict each other. such excitement:rolleyes:

OMG! Did anyone else see Eastenders? Flipping brilliant and I am still blubbering

Anyway, happyshopper, plese could you put me down for 2/10 AFD's - :j thanking you :D

Well that's my lot for a bit now. Friday tomorrow so a planned drinking night. Normally would be back on the wagon on Monday but going on holiday on Sunday and doubt very much I will have any totally AF days   even though I may well order just the one glass some nights instead of sharing a bottle :D .
I will be back home Easter Saturday, but not on the wagon again until probably Mon.13th, though who nows, I may even manage 1 or 2 AF days yet ;)

Hope everyone is having a good night xx

Good Luck Fluffy Bishop, when I go on holiday I'll be the same, maybe one or two glasses instead of the best part of a bottle. Or maybe none at all some nights! Anyway have a nice time away!

Eastenders had me blubbing a bit too, I wish they had let it have a happier ending for Ronnie and Dannielle.

Anyway AF for me tonight too, just had my yoggie and a glass of water (woo hoo!). Making it AFD 2!

OMG, Eastenders!!!! Not expecting that ending at all- feel really shocked and upset- how weirds that-its only a soap!!!!!! Blimey.

A big welcome to new reducers/quitters, everyone on here brings something to this struggle and its great to have you posting and feeding back.

Can't do a BB as my memory isn't as good, and I'm bound to miss someone out and feel guilty, but I really do appreciate the effort people make to post on here and encourage each other- struggling with drink can be so isolating at times and you feel you are on your own, but its good to know you lot are here-your a great bunch to be in the trenches with.

    Good luck everyone!!!
