Morning all
Miss P, hope your conversation with your mum goes okay this afternoon
Hi to everyone else, sorry don't have time for personals this morning, I'm meant to be doing housework!! Lamb joint been in the slow cooker for a couple of hours now and the smell is starting to come through the house....I'm starving!!
Drove all the way to the 'local' shopping centre yesterday (which is miles away!) to get some Kudzu, didn't tell OH that's why I wanted to go there, said I wanted to go to Lidls and get some stuff in instead! I hate, absolutely hate, going to the shopping centre with OH as he is like a woman in his shopping habits. We spent almost 2 hours in TKMaxx   then over an hour in Tesco and we were only shopping for that evening. We have complete role reversal, I'm a 'take a list and head just for what I want, in and out' kinda girl....he is a 'let's go shooooopppinggggg!!!!!' kinda a bloke. So didn't get home till 8.30pm even though we left the house at 1pm and I had to make a biriyani which wasn't ready till 10.30pm!
On the positive side though, I got me Kudzu and now need advice from you in the know when and how much to take? It says take 2 which I'll probably stick to, I'm not one for overdosing (unless it's alcoholic
), but I need to know when's the best time to take it as it says take with food, is that right? How long does it take to 'do something'?

Oh another thing.....I got the Kudzu in H&B and I'm sure the woman behind the counter knew why I was buying it, she was almost apologetic in the way she served me :rotfl:DFW Nerd no. 496 - Proud to be dealing with my debts!!0

Jo, I take my Kudzu about an 30 - 60 minutes before my 'danger time' so i take mine somewhere around 5.30pm ish. I don't eat till later, so just take a biscuit or something like that with it.
I made mine work from day 1 :rotfl: and had 1 glass less straightaway, but by day 3 I definitely didn't get any cravings at all, and on my AF nights I have been fine - no climbing the walls like I was on AF days before without Kudzu
If you don't want to buy it in the shop next time, you can get it online from H&B and I ordered some on Thursday and it was £2 per bottle off at the moment :j
Good luck!!

Hi All
I was doing so well in my efforts to have an AF March, and then I went out for a family meal and found it too difficult 'socially' to say no to the wine that was being automatically poured out.
However.......I actually feel ok about this as I have given a lot of thought to what my ultimate aim is and that is to be able to drink in a moderated and controlled way, preferably in social situations just like this one was, and within the acceptable number of units per week etc. I accepted a couple of glasses of wine with my meal and that felt enough. I have wine at home and previously I would have probably continued drinking when I got home but I didn't. I felt quite satisfied with my couple of glasses,
It does mean that I haven't made my target, but is it against the 'rules' to change one's target
I don't mean just to let myself off the hook, but more because of realising what my ultimate aim is and now wanting to set a more realistic target of keeping withing the recommended units.
Let me know what the protocol is regarding changing target. I can understand if it is 'frowned' upon as I guess we could all decide to change our target if we have had a slip up :rotfl:0 -
Hi all

Ophelia, don't worry about it, you don't really know what you want to achieve yet in the grand scheme of things, if you can do social drinking then there is nothing wrong with that. It's up to you to decide whether or not that that is all you want? Use this as a learning curve to decide where you want to be
FB, I deffo will order online next time and from H&B with the quidco cashback (thanks to Fay
), it's just when I want something, I want it NOW!!!
