    Hi All

Why is this soooo hard to do!!! Last night OH was away and I managed to polish off a whole bottle of red wine all by myself, what's even worse is that I called at the shop on the way home from work to buy it so it was totally planned.

On the upside I did manage to be AF on Wednesday, that's a total of 2 AFD's for me now. Must work harder at this, but maybe after the weekend

Hi all- hope you are all OK. Well a weird thing has happened to me- exchanged my tincture Kudzu for (what the health food shop guy assures me is pretty much the same stuff) Avena sativa on wednesday. Have been taking it- and I was driving home today and thought OMG I've not thought about alcohol all day- it just hasn't crossed my mind and I usually think about it and crave it all the time, even though I've only had one drinking session since Dec 2007, its still always in the background. Whats going on?! I don't care if this is all in my mind, even campral didn't have this effect and I really believed in that too. Mine cost about the price of a good bottle of red wine- bargain, thanks for everyone who suggested trying it.

Good luck everyone for tonight and the weekend, hope you are all OK.

    Hi everyone :hello:

Housemate Budgie checking in on day 6 and what a stressfull day it is, (But we won't go there).

One positive I have been to the dentist (I'm not a fan). Well I have always gone for regular check ups and my first filling was at the age of ?????? 40 yes 40 I was terrified. Back to the positive I usually have a bad build up of tartar due to red wine consumption and it is nowhere near as bad now so :T to my teeth. :D

So BsNtc I am staying af today though earlier on it was a bit dodgy to say the least but rest assured, I aim to keep my ANGEL STATUS,:A so 6 outta 6 please. (Re: your fitness dvd, well it wouldn't of been anyone else but Davina now would it?) :rotfl:

Winebox you have never seen BB and am I right in saying that it was you who did not know that Danielle is Ronnie's daughter in Eastenders? I think a visit to the diary room is due so Big Sister can advise. :rotfl:I mean I am so looking forward to Ronnie finding out, (its rumoured Mothers Day). Its worth staying af for that I mean if I missed it? Well

And now onto Dear Lurky :naughty:have you never heard the saying: "Don't put off until tomorrow what you can do today"? Seriously I know you are not having a good time at the moment but as you know drink never helps in such situations. Just look back at your posts and remember how happy you were at the end of January when you: "ONLY WENT AND DID IT" :j So hugs my friend, I am hoping things get better for you. After all I will always see you as our: "DEAR CAPTAIN LURKY" leading the way on our af challenge xxxxxxx

    Jo and Fay
hoping the weekend goes well for you both? Love n Hugs xxxxx
Wbf keep posting its always lovely to hear from you. Hugs xxxxxx
    Fedup
I hope you are feeling in less pain now? So sending you hugs and take care. xxxxx

To all the missing housemates including: POLAROID, BHB, MARI, PP, YM, PBT, SEA AND EVERYONE ELSE, HOPE YOU ARE ALL WELL? BUDGIE HUGS XXXXXX

HUGS TO ALL THE REGULAR HOUSEMATES. XXXXXX

PS BS NTC I'm still waiting for you to get back to me regarding my toilet roll request, there's only so long I can hang on for you know :rotfl:xxxxxxxxxxxxxx

Oh and on a serious note I just want to say: THANKYOU to you all, because when things are difficult and I feel like saying: "sod it and I'll have a drink" I don't because of the support on here.

So thankyou all again, its great to have met you all so to speak.

It's hard work trying to be a better me. but I'm giving it a Bl??dy good shot.

    Lots love everyone xxxxxxxxxxx

  • NOT happy with the sleep thing though. On every AF day this week I have been waking up in the night [normal for me] but not getting back to sleep again so that is really annoying me more than the not drinking!

Keep perservering with it Fluffybishop, the sleep thing will get better for you but it could take some time. Don't forget you have been in a habit of drinking regularly for a long time. Your body has got used to that. Whilst it may take 2-3 days for the alcohol to work its way fully out of your system I think it will take longer for your body to adjust to other things so your sleep pattern may take a while longer. Mine did but I think it is better now. Still get up in the night, but i think I must have inherited a small bladder...:o
