    Morning everyone :hello: :hello:

Hope you don't mind me popping in to say hello. I have been lurking lots on this and your last thread. I am determined to cut down my alcohol intake this year partly because of my weight and partly because of the fact it is a habit that is expensive and unhealthy. I don't want to give up completely as I do enjoy a glass of wine or two but I know that a few more alcohol free days would do me good:o :o

I am normally to be found in the arms so maybe I need to change that for a start :rotfl:
I will be alcohol free today which will make ......erm.......let me count.......erm 1 for january:o :o still its a start.

Have any of you found you have lost weight by giving up/cutting down?

    Look forward to joining in
    Nels x

went to the pub yesterday with lunch wtih my family and was determined to stick to my guns. ordered tonic water adn my dad must have asked me about 7 times if i would like a glass of red. i didnt give in and felt v v glad.
last night i de-cluttered my bedroom, changed the sheets, dusted, hoovered etc and sprayed some lavendar stuff around. anyway not sure what it was but i went to bed at 9pm and slept straight through to 6. unheard of with me without alcohol so its given me a huge boost.

    Well done!

And well done everyone else. Those numbers are loking mighty impressive. Let's hope we can all keep it up! :j :j

    GreyPilgrim - fantastic achievement!!!!

btw - my reply to people who ask why I'm not drinking is that I am detoxing for January after overdoing it at Xmas.... this usually does the trick. I'll deal with February if/when it happens :)
