The giving up/cutting down alcohol support thread! Part 2

Morning everyone :hello: :hello:
Hope you don't mind me popping in to say hello. I have been lurking lots on this and your last thread. I am determined to cut down my alcohol intake this year partly because of my weight and partly because of the fact it is a habit that is expensive and unhealthy. I don't want to give up completely as I do enjoy a glass of wine or two but I know that a few more alcohol free days would do me good:o
I am normally to be found in the arms so maybe I need to change that for a start :rotfl:
I will be alcohol free today which will make ......erm.......let me count.......erm 1 for january:o
still its a start.
Have any of you found you have lost weight by giving up/cutting down?
Look forward to joining in

GreyPilgrim - fantastic achievement!!!!
btw - my reply to people who ask why I'm not drinking is that I am detoxing for January after overdoing it at Xmas.... this usually does the trick. I'll deal with February if/when it happens
