Hi all - not many updates from yest. unless I've missed some - can always come back & update this if you let me know.
Hi to Newbies!
Well done Jo :T & NTC :T on superlative efforts right at the end!
Loads of posts to catch up on....Fluffy I don't know how much it's contributed but I've taken milk thistle for years.
Well NTC - notebook at the ready? Go girl!!0 -
Oh yeah the weight loss thing....I still weigh what I did at the start of 2008!! Have just signed up for a weekly tums & bums class (OMG haven't exercised since 1987), borrowed a huge t-shirt from OH to hide the fat bits, & WILL lose 18lbs by summer! I was sort of pleased at last year's bad summer as I couldn't do my shorts up. Anyway, this is relevant as most of my calorie intake is 13% proof.0

Winebox its me
can I have a jumpy thingy please for doing my target? Sorry to be a pain, its only a small thing I know but getting one of those has kept me going. :j
Re: the weightloss you don't need to tell me, after 2 months af I though I would have lost at least half a stone plus. (Thats gotta be the most disappointing thing so far).
Thanks again, take care hugs. xxxxxx

Winebox. I know today is your day off so to speak so relax and enjoy you did a storming job:cool: :A29th Feb Quit Day :j0 -
1=I missed my mouth at one point and tipped red wine all down my lovely Topshop dressing gown
:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: I once fell asleep on the sofa whilst hugging a glass of red wine, & was wearing my most expensive bra (TMI?) so refuse to throw it out & the stain (a sort of mauve/grey now, on white cotton) (TMI again?) is still there to make me cringe.0 -

Cheers mate. Maybe it was the stress of the responsibilty that made my Feb so carp. Then again, maybe not.
Just make sure people don't play fast & loose with the jumpers.0 -

Re: the tree hugger thingy, its just my interest in a new age life style. I am trying to be a better me and look at myself more internally instead of just externally. Am I making any sense? Contentment comes from within, I am a pretty grounded person and don't strive for what I cannot have. I used to go on a crystal course, really enjoyed it met lots of different people. Believe me there were some characters there, but it all felt normal when in that environment. When I came home though I couldn't decide if I had just been somewhere totally fantastic or totally wacky? Thats the two sides of my brain working against each other. But what the heck I enjoyed myself and thats what counts. So there is a little me in here somewhere that wants to be a better me. Work in progress for now, but pleased I am still off the red wine. Lets hope it continues for a long long time to come.
Hugs to you, bet you glad you asked now? :rotfl:
Budige xxxxxxxxxxxxx
I kind of understand I think - from my own point of view - I should be very very content - but I am utterly not - and I don't understand why.
Somehow its like my brain hasn't caught up with my life or something? Now who's non-sensical.??
There is nothing about the way that we live really that should sustain any kind of relationship with alcohol - and yet its all tangled up together somehow - I can't decide where it all fits in - because its all at odds with each ohter if that makes any sort of sense??
The thing I seek most in the universe is contentment so I wish you ever so much good luck yourself.
Never thought of our life as new age - more like the clampets meets the goodlife meets david bellamyTotal debt 26/4/18 <£1925 we were getting there.

When me and OH got married 5 years ago I had a beautiful white wedding dress.....at the beginning of the day.... by the end I had a sort of red and white wedding dress. It now sits in the attic that very same colour....kind of mauve/grey patches all over it especially down the cleavage area where I completely missed my mouth.....I have quite a habit of doing that!It also has a huge grass stain up the back of it where I fell over,ah im one classy lady0
