    hi
god, sorry about that last night - seemed that my glass of wine turned into 2 bottles, with no food. Hence random non-sensical(now, I know that's not spelt right!!!) messages on here!!

Feel dreadful today - overslept, but managed to get to work, thankfully I'd planned quite well for the lessons today so work wasn't bad at all, but now at home preparing for the meeting tonight and the presentation. Or rather, not doing as am on here lol!! I was going to have wine tonight, but think it might be time to actually start my 18/28 as it's been 3/3 drinking nights so far.

I think I might have to just not buy wine at all. Then only drink when I'm out. This can't go on - I feel so guilty as honestly, anything could have happened. The bombsite of a kitchen I came down to this morning shows that!

So, gonna try harder, will come on this thread more for inspiration, I didn't expect this to be this hard!

Hi Sea - erm, I won't say we've ALL been there, but I've been & gone & done it before. Oh that cringeing when you look back on the posts / texts / phone calls etc etc. Etc! of the night before. Actually, considering your posts last night or rather early this morning you're sounding pretty together now!
Hope you get inspiration on here!
Good luck for tonight - the sooner you start the better before you run out of days in the month for your target lol

Welcome Rovina, Goochie and Dunclane - this is a fantastic thread with fantastic folk - just keep on posting and the support will be there.
Louise, well done on setting your limits and making a plan.

Sea, I'll join winebox in saying that I've most definately been there although I haven't always confined my incoherent (or in my cups!) ramblings to anonomous internet forums. I cringe at certain late night conversations and phone calls I've had. Yee gods, never again. Bravo for you for getting up and dealing with your day - sounds as if you have been busy.
I found not buying any wine the easiest thing at first but then started again as my DH like to have a glass or two of an evening (and it stays a glass or two).

Rovina, I agree with the whole 'can't cope with a hangover and work thing' I am a SAHM so found that if I had a hangover then I could go at half pace (or stop) for the day and noone noticed so long as everyone got fed (and that was occasionally a bit hit and miss). But if I had to get up and go and do a paid job then I think i would have been sacked!

Having fish for dinner and am going to use some white wine to make the sauce but don't think this counts as alcohol.

Thanks- it is reassuring to know that others have done the same!
I'm feeling dreadful actually, but am looking forward to going to bed tonight lol. First, I have to go back to work to do that presentation tonight at 7 - great timing!! Need to eat a huge meal and sort myself!
