    Hi Louise and welcome

It takes me a week or so for my sleeping patterns to improve, although I've noticed switching to decaff coffee (as you've prob been reading :D) has helped as I sleep better this time than previous quits, the dreams take a bit longer to die down if you've been getting them, really vivid!

I usually find that 30 days is my golden moment when I can say the sun has risen i.e. clear skin, shinier hair, digestion back to normal etc etc.. seems a long way away but I know I can look forward to feeling a bit better each day in the mean time. Good luck on your journey and feel free to share on here, we will give you loads of support :)

It took about a month for my sleep to improve and skin to start to look better, however it is better now.

Sorry chaps and chapess's ---- still alive and kicking - been either working or drinking :o. I've not really had the the 'drive' to be on for a while.

I saw the counsellor yesterday - she told me to have 7 units every day for the next week - no more, no less! Strange - really - came home last night not really feeling like any. I vaguely remember Jo going through the same feelings last year ??

Also on some new tablets from the doc.

Hope everyone is OK, have not had the chance to read through yet ......could take a little while .

Welcome new peeps and hope all old peeps are OK .....when I say old .....you know what I mean .... though some of you have turned the 45 corner :rotfl::rotfl:

    hello all,

Hope everyone is ok today and hugs to those who are not.

I managed another AF day so that is 3/3 so far.

However, this is because my night out was cancelled. So I stayed in and played scrabble with my husband instead. I can highly recommend this as a diversion tactic- we have had the board for years but have never played, it was a complete change from our usual eat dinner and then slump in front of the telly.

Test comes tonight, I am meeting up with my friends from another forum. One has just got engaged so already the talk is of "champers" and "celebratory drinks". I really need to keep my sensible head on. I will not have an AF day today but it will be within my weekly unit allowance. My theory is if I stick to champers I will drink less as it costs more....... (it makes sense to me anyway!)

    Good luck everyone xx
