Ah, you just reminded me...I bought some white tea with essence of pomegranate yesterday and I haven't tried it yet..

(*flaps like a big girl and heads downstairs to make some)

I've been giggling about this post since last night :rotfl:

Was going to give Patch some bigging up about achievement, and 'it not being easy' blah blah blah, but the page submitted itself.

    Weird

    Anyhoo, all of the above.

    :)

Hi all & :T to most it seems!

Sea you don't sound OK but you haven't let us down, pls post again so we know you're alright.

All those posts about dogs is making me broody. Mine is 12, & is my number 1 child, (DD knows the score) & was due to have an op to remove a tumour today & I've been really wound up about it but have had to cancel as the roads here are lethal even now let alone earlier. The school bus never made it! A neighbour with a 4x4 took DD in. So am grounded & monumentally FED UP!

What's worse the only choklit in the house is 70% cocOa solids stuff & I want CADBURY'S. Grrrrr! Feeling like a rottweiler myself this morning (had an egg (hen's not cadbury's) instead tho).
  • Hi all, been reading this thread for ages but really only in the last month have I got my head together enough to really get involved. My drinking had been out of control for about 5 years - a bottle of wine a night until mid last year when I tried to cut down a bit. It was the usual story, things coming back to haunt me, meaning i drank to forget and to pass out rather than worry about getting off to sleep. But then again waking up at half four and tossing and turning. My memory is rubbish and I am tired all the time.

Long story short I realised I cant go on like this, so am grasping the nettle and joining in. I had a bottle of wine on sunday night and then nothing since. So today will be day 3.

How long is it before sleep patterns improve and that your head clears as so far, I feel as crap as I did before?
Cogito ergo sum. Google it you lazy sod !!
  • Hi Louise and welcome to the thread

You'll find everyone on here un-judgmental and really supportive.

I think its different with everyone when they cut down on drinking - I find my sleep improves immediately but it takes a week or two for me to start feeling "lively" again. Also, my skin improves more or less straight away.

    Good luck

    Miss P
