  • I have another dilemma coming up...:undecided Saturday we have been invited out to friends for a burns night/chinese new year celebration. I reckon there will be a few people there, maybe 8. It's one thing going out to dinner for a couple of hours and volunteering to drive. It's quite another going out in the village (i.e. where you can walk) and often these things don't finish to early IYSWIM. So I may have to partake of a few glasses of the red stuff, and settle for 30/31. After all, this will be well ahead of my target...

...haven't convinced myself yet. I'll have to wait and see how my resolve is later in the week, but at the moment I don't fancy my chances:sad:

But in the meantime 20/20 for me Lurky, old chap.

I wouldn't make any decisions just yet. No-one but yourself is asking you to decide now. Why don't you see on the day itself?

If you do drink, be careful. You have not drunk for a while, so your capacity to process alcohol is probably seriously diminished. So you could find yourself getting drunk on less drinks than it used to. And that impairs judgement.
  • I saw that Mrs Lurky was on the score chart, (BB aka Hetty Wainthrop) :rotfl:Mysteriously she has now changed her name to: Esther Mcvittie? Draw your own conclusions?
On that note Mrs Lurky perhaps you could pm Mrs Bhb she does a wicked frying pan around the head, as poor Mr Bhb can tell you, that is when the ringing in his ears stops. :rotfl:

  • Hi all!

Another day for me thank you Lurkio. I'm almost wishing that I'd been a bit more ambitious with my target now! However, one step at a time.

    Have a good day everyone!

I drank a few pints last night and I felt much more tiddly than usual. I woke up this morning with a raging thirst as I was having a dream that I was waiting for someone to get back from the shop with a can of Dandelion & Burdock for me but I kept calling them on my mobile phone and they said they will be there in five minutes, then 15 minutes and I was getting more and more parched. I blame you people for that odd dream!:rotfl:

Do other people have those thirsty dreams? I haven't had one in a while probably because I haven't been drinking as much lately.

I might be going out again tonight so might not be AF again.:o I want to make it 15 at least this month so I have a few more days to go anyway.

So still only 13/22 Lurkio please.

    Everyone else is doing great!:A
