GP. Have a great day

Happy Birthday Grey pilgrim - have a lovely day.
Welcome Glasgowgirl.
WB, yesterday must have been a grim day for you - don't beat yourself up.
Lurkio, I've been AF the last three days but to be honest I've lost count of my total. I think I've had seven drinking days so it would make my total 13 now, no? Anyway, I'm feeling good today because I got enough sleep - this is what I need to do - go to bed early.
Have a nice day everyone.
WOW, YM, that's a flashy image thingy!0 -
I did not even know there was a Mrs Lurky so that was a nice surprise
19 for me now please Mr Lurky

Good Morning all
GP - Happy Birthday ! I honestly can't remember an AF birthday since my 18th - or being out of debt either come to that....
I had a few hiccups of the financial kind after my AF day on Thursday, think I'm being tested, anyway last drop of alcohol to pass my lips was Saturday night. It was a glass of wine (which I don't even like) that I realised I was drinking for the sake of it, no lager in the house. And there was the warning. Wanted that light alcohol induced feeling so actually tried to drink something I don't like.
And that was it. Slept deep refreshing sleep each night since Sunday, I don't know where this is going, whether I've stopped for good but I'm feeling good today.DC.

"Well, week 5 of no alcohol and I see a different person in the mirror. My eyes no longer look dull and vacant, they actually have a little sparkle and my skin doesn't look like uncooked pastry anymore. I feel that I have won a battle but not yet the war. Hope everyone else is at the point they want to be, I never want to be that person I was, I have been tempted but I just think back to what I had become. The sun is shining at the moment and I feel good and want to continue to have the sun in my life."winebox wrote:Firstly may I say to Lurkio (pls note use of formal name now lurky (oops)).....
