Hi guys,
Another one for me Lurkio please.
I can't believe that I'm going to say this, but I'm not finding it too difficult to stay AF. For me it's turning out to be more of a substitution thing. Where I'd normally sit and down a bottle of wine in the evening, its the D&B that cops for it instead. Has anyone found that it's the habit of drinking - and I mean drinking anything, not specifically booze - rather than the alcohol itself?
Ok, flack jacket and tin helmet on... fire away!0 -

Yup! Both myself and lady L have found it quite easy....... it tended to be a habit to buy a few tins from the shop of an evening. Substituting that for pop, or milk, or virgin Marys seems to be fairly painless.......Neigh, neigh, and thrice neigh

"Well, week 5 of no alcohol and I see a different person in the mirror. My eyes no longer look dull and vacant, they actually have a little sparkle and my skin doesn't look like uncooked pastry anymore. I feel that I have won a battle but not yet the war. Hope everyone else is at the point they want to be, I never want to be that person I was, I have been tempted but I just think back to what I had become. The sun is shining at the moment and I feel good and want to continue to have the sun in my life."

It's definitely a substitution thing for me too A but I can't say I'm finding it easy. I have to keep drinking something on my AF days so I'm managing with copious amounts of water (except for my one lapse into fizzy water with lime cordial!).0
