Does anyone know if you can pay cheques into your CC account, rather than into the current account? I am expecting a cheque from envirophone and was wondering if i can just pay it straight onto the CC. Hope this makes sense to someone!!

If the cheque is made out to you then you should be able to but it depends on your CC provider - some ask for the cheque to be made out to your name + the 16 digit number. Can you pay it into the bank and transfer the money directly over to the CC?

Also £3 additional PAD to the In Case Of Redundancy Fund. All my extra money this month is going into this and next month I will pay my £100 from Barclaycard off first then hit this with PAD. And some shiny bonus. If work ever tells me how much I'm going to be getting...

Thanks f-f, i will ask in the bank. Yes i could pay it into bank, but once it gets in there OH notices it (shared account) and it suddenly gets spent, dont you just love men!! Just thought if i could pay cheques directly to CC he would never get his hands on it - yes i know very deceitful (sp) :rotfl:

    Morning all

Happy 'Hump' Day everyone. PAD of £1.70 for me. Next PAD will be Friday (pay day) as totally broke now but still feel i'm better off than this time last year as no overdraft and credit cards going in the right direction - for once! Will start making payments to DHs cap one too. Will catch up on posts later so everybody well. x
