Todays PAD = £4.78
Bit of a strange day today having found out that I will get a bonus for my efforts in 2008 but it seems to carry some wierd terms.
I'm hoping for about £2500 gross, however only the first £2000 will be paid, with the remainder being paid in annual installments over the next 3 years.
I suppose I should be pleased to be getting the bonus, but I'm strangely down about the whole situation. I think it's just insecurities about the future.
I know I'm in a much better position than a lot of others so I'll be grateful for what I've got.
On another note, part of the bonus will be being spent on purchasing some portable studio equipment so that I can build my photography business.... speculate to accumulate eh !!0 -

Hi all, missed my PAD yesterday so £1 today.
Worked a ten hour shift yesterday - too long a shift in a shop! Had the best customer complaint yet though - that the socks were dusty!!Mad or what? :rotfl: The customer then complained about me because I didn't take the complaint seriously enough!

Well, today I was supposed to be heading up to Guys Hospital for a wisdom teeth appointment   ....
...but someone had gone under a train at my tube station (poor sod), which meant no real way of getting there on time. So now that's postponed for a few weeks.
The appointments woman was SOOOO RUDE when I called to ask what I should do. Really snotty and saying "is there no way you can get here, the dentists are all very busy with full appointments" and I said "yes but probably 90 mins late" she was all like "well, I suppose I will have to rebook it for you and send another letter" speaking to me like a ten year old and making it very clear she was all ratty!! Don't we all pay a chunk of our wages for that wonderful level of service? I hope she needs four root canals doing soon or something. Ha ha - rant over. Actually secretly relieved I'm not going but just delaying the fear I think....
That also leaves me with no way to get to work for a while....so maybe I will work ahem, from home (and do the deep clean of the flat ready to check out on Thursday morning - need to make a good job of it to get all the deposit back!)
Here we go with a random fact :
The average human will eat an average of 8 spiders while sleeping
Now thats minging !!
You really made me laugh when you said that you " hope she needs four root canals doing or something " :rotfl:..... I do have a really good piccy, but i can't put it on here because thevinternet is counting down the days to her " dentist trip "
.....
Oh my god ! ...... The average human will eat an average of 8 spiders while sleeping.....Holy sh*te ! ..... They give me the willies !
.... That fact had better mean in a lifetime and not in a night
