    Morning all,

decided to PAD £202.80. Really need to get into gear with the holiday savings or it will not be much fun for those two months when we are away and with the pound not being worth that much - even worse!

Hope everyone has a good start to the new week.

I'm off to catch up with all the posts from the weekend now.

Well the bleurgh week finished with the kitchen being slightly flooded

OH believed he had fixed the leak in the dishwasher, but dishwasher decided differently. At least we were in the kitchen and stopped it before too much water spilled over the laminate.

Spent yesterday afternoon looking for dishwashers and OH made the choice - no idea why, he is sure the instructions on the current one says can only be loaded and emptied by Gilly, place plates as close as possible but do not open the door in case you need to load or unload

Tried to get a discount in Comet - they gave £30 but then took away free delivery and collection which added on over £40 and could not deliver for two weeks. The Manager was very surprised when I said no.

Managed to order today from Currys price match plus a bit more, free delivery and take away of the old one. Delivery this week.

Fortunately enough money in the emergency fund.

PAD just £1.00 found in the washing machine drum

    Speak to you all soon

A huge £1.93 PAD for me today.

Well, today I was supposed to be heading up to Guys Hospital for a wisdom teeth appointment   ....

...but someone had gone under a train at my tube station (poor sod), which meant no real way of getting there on time. So now that's postponed for a few weeks.

The appointments woman was SOOOO RUDE when I called to ask what I should do. Really snotty and saying "is there no way you can get here, the dentists are all very busy with full appointments" and I said "yes but probably 90 mins late" she was all like "well, I suppose I will have to rebook it for you and send another letter" speaking to me like a ten year old and making it very clear she was all ratty!! Don't we all pay a chunk of our wages for that wonderful level of service? I hope she needs four root canals doing soon or something. Ha ha - rant over. Actually secretly relieved I'm not going but just delaying the fear I think....

That also leaves me with no way to get to work for a while....so maybe I will work ahem, from home (and do the deep clean of the flat ready to check out on Thursday morning - need to make a good job of it to get all the deposit back!)

Here we go with a random fact :

The average human will eat an average of 8 spiders while sleeping

    Now thats minging !!
