I am having to be a bit careful with payment a day after reducing my overdraft by £200 more than I meant to by accident!! And bank want to charge £25 to increase it again... so I am only going to have little payment a days and see if I can last the month out with what I have got - a week into the month and bank is still in credit (that hasn't happened for years!!
)....finally feels like I am getting somewhere with my debts
No payment for me today, going to wait until Fri and see what I have in my purse. Well done everyone

Wow! A brilliant PAD total again! Just gets better and better! Well done everyone and flying_fresian for the maths genius
Just checked my bank balance and I only have £3.80 left in it until pay day on the 15th! So not too sure what my PAD's going to be at the mo as I still have £20 in me purse but we shall see! Will let you know laters on for the totals!
Another chilly day here but no ice to scrape off the car woo!

I'm abandoning PAD for the moment as it's pointless making an extra payment when I've slipped back into overdraft overnight. Two DDs going out have caused it. I've transferred money from my business account to plug most of it and will be paying a bit of cash into my personal account when they open to take my balance back up to zero. It's not a disaster as it's reasonably priced as overdrafts go. Also, there is some more money in my business account but it won't be available until the cheques clear. Struggling at the moment as the freeze up has prevented me from working (I don't mind being frozen but the water I need to use makes my job not doable). Also, I will need to pay for a new pump and some bits due to frost damage. I can see me needing to increase my debt level to more than I started the year with because over the next three months I have a £1,300 tax bill, a £230 accountancy bill, and a van MOT and service to pay for. I am aware of van repairs that could set me back £300 - £400. Hopefully there are no others. I think PAD will have to go on the back burner for a few weeks - except fore the minimum payment going out by DD. If I get to the end of March owing no more than I did at the start of the year, I will consider that I've done very well. I have a credit card cheque available to me at 0% for 6 months (if used by 31/1) which has a BT fee of 3%. I may well need to draw on that at some point. I don't like it one bit but it could turn out to be my least bad option.
I don't know if you want to count it as a PAD but a DD left my accont during the night for £245.02. This is the fixed repayment for one of my personal loans.
In the meantime, I'm just going to muddle along and do my very best.
I am comforted to know that whatever my debt level is at any one time, without this forum, it would have been more.0 -

Haven't posted for a few days but have paid another £37.27 off goldfish then realised as it has been taken over by barclaycard that the minimum payment came out on a different date so I would be in credit (£45.19) went online to check and found I was over £5200 in credit
. Done a transfer from a 0% card showing as £5300 on the transfer card but £10600 on goldfish. Only tempted for a few secs to say nowt but then rang them up they can't tell who the money belongs to but they are checking she did say it would make a nice Christmas present -as if thats going to happen.
So defitantly no more payments to Goldfish it is paid off have to see how I am going to get my £45.19 back might have to spend on it not going to do anything until they sort the £5300 out. Then move on to Halifax Platinum a large balance but at least the interest is only () 12%. The rest are all 0% and one lifetime balance at 6.5% so I am getting there just not as fast as I would like.
Have a good day.
DTxx
On checking again realise they didnt take minimum payment because I was in credit so I do still owe them £40 odd but my recent payments to them not showing up yet they may have sent them back because I am supposedly in credit so still not going toclear it until I know where I am still showing me in credit so far!0 -
Morning all - Ive paid my 15.00 to MBNA - they are going to love me!
Have got my SW weigh in this morning - put 2lbs on last week which was because of Christmas so I am really hoping to have lost those again but we shall see!
