    £1.06 to barclaycard today...

Well I finally did it. Weighed myself at boots. Was quite funny actually. Put my money in and it started giving instructions out loud. Pooped myself as I thought it would then go on to broadcast my weight to the world! Covered the speaker bit with my hand, but of course the machine isn't so mean!. Weighed in at XXst7lb which is fairly horrendous....4 and a half stone on since I had DS, but feel fairly positive, taking the same philosophy as here that all the little bits add up! Love the fact I have a little 'ticket' to show my progress.

Blinkin freezing here. Went down to -10 last night.......poor rabbit can hardly move for hay and straw in his 'house'.

    Keep Smiling!

  • Haven't posted for a couple of day's. First day back at work got a bit mad, so I went and paid £50 off Citi card to make up for it. I'd taken something back to Next and had it re-credited to my account, so just went on to check if the credit had gone on, and imagine my surprise when I found out that my balance was only £29.72 when I had thought that it was £90!! I was so surprised that I paid it off, so £79.72 for me today, and 1 down.....Yay!

    £6.57 for me today :j

I got £6.13 from Amazon for some books I sold and I saved 44p on multibuys in Asda so I've added it together and paid it off the CC :money::T

Well done everyone - I am really enjoying seeing the balances come down :D
  • Hi All

Well done to everyone, not just for the PADs, but for all the other little updates too, it's great reading through this thread! I'm sure my OH thinks I'm having an affair 'cos I'm on here every evening now!!:rotfl:

Had a refund from BT today so was able to make a bumper-bonus PAD of £38.18 today. Am so pleased as my Egg card has now dropped below the K£3, but with interest due to go on I expected it to go back over, but it won't now :T

Without this thread I would never had made these payments, it's such a motivation, thanks and well done to all :j

  • Hi Everyone

I have been reading the antics of the PADers since you all started but couldn't find the right moment to join.

Well I have just worked out my total debt and I am gobsmacked - can't disclose the amount because I am supposed to be a Money Adviser.
Fat lot of good I am if I'm in debt - what is it they say - do as I say not as I do!!!

Will start off my clearing the Barclaycard which has a medium balance of £2704.93 but the highest interest at 24.9%. Was supposed to have done a balance transfer over here at 6.9% for life from another card but I was 1 day too late so I spent for Xmas on it. Have some money saved for it but no where near this balance.

I guess life got in the way of my saving money each month. Not any more I am doing my budget at the moment for the current year and will be saving towards Xmas every month.

Anyway enough rambling my PAD today was £5.06. (trying to keep the pence to the day so I know where I am)

  • Hi everyone :D

£1.33 PAD for me today - it's all adding up little by little and I've not even noticed it's gone from my purse but it'll make a difference to my debt each week when I pay it to one of my cards. Looking forward to seeing one of those balances finally shifting in the right direction!

Everyone's doing so well and it's a great motivator for us all :j
