We're planning on both being credit card free by July (he's a bit behind) then buying when the market plateaus (sp?). And I tend to spread christmas shopping out anyway. these forums really have been a blessing!

I finally got some money that was owed to me so £90 today to Hal CC.
and £1.23 to Barclay to clear it!!! YAY!!!!

Thats 2 have been cleared this month - would not have happened if it wasnt for you all so thank you, only 3 to go now! will take a while though

Also got the letter from capital one about increasing interest rate and mines is on a low interest for the life of the balance

Yay for you MinniMe - what a great feeling to clear two in one month. I was delighted when I got rid of one this month. The one I'm on now is a long haul but I'm so happy to be doing something about it. Well done you.

Thanks Joeyjimbles - I know just what you mean, the 3 I have left are all long haul ones so will be a while before i have this feeling again!

Ah well done it's good to know you have things kind of sussed if that makes sence ? I got some bargin xmas bits in sales and I am putting money by each month, and I should really budget birthdays :rolleyes: but I am getting vouchers and things for people what to get a 15 year old that is terminally ill hmmm

Another £1 for my pad today , its all going on my argos card as thats the only thing I owe that charges me interest .

some big payments are being made today, think todays total will be big!!
So today i have paid £5 to HSBC CC and £4.92 to natwest CC.
Total PAD is £9.92
