Yesterdays total was another £1k+!
£1308.96 :j :T :j
Good grief!!!! I never imagined for a minute the totals would be so high in January. Big claps for everyone. Whether we've paid pennies or pounds it contributes to reducing our debt and increasing our collective totals.
Thank you FF for the totals yet again.
Can i volunteer in advance to do totals for April? I'll have more time with easter hols in middle, so haven't got to worry about getting little on ready.
Have a great day everyone xOne step at a time0 -
Morning everyone
Just paid £3.00 to Cap One again. I am going to count my regular payment if that's ok as it's usually about £70 ish:mad: and i wouldn't be making a PAD that day. Many thanks Jo41 for your help with the signature.:T Will hopefully make it a bit more exciting when i have time to play with it. For now it will just monitor my payments to Cap One.
Going out after work tonight with DH (MSE style of course). It's a deal through our newspaper where you get a main meal and glass of vino for £6.95 in a choice of good restaurants. Think i have earned it this month. I have had only 2 NSD this month but going to join up the challenge for February so think that will help to keep me on the straight and narrow. Yikes just noticed the time better go and get ready for work. Bye for now. Have a nice day everyone.Payment A Day £15 (started 17/5/14) :j0 -
Morning everyone
Half way through the week:T, and January will soon be gone :T. It's getting a little lighter late afternoon. I hate coming home from work in the dark.
Total pad today is £13.28
Have a good day everyone.Pad, started 28.11.08 running total £3674.91:T

Had a letter yesterday saying interest on CrapOne card going up to 24.93% for purchases:mad: says it is costing them more to lend..seems odd to me when bank rate at its lowest
BUT, thanks to PAD my balance is a big fat 0 on this card :j .. so I'm going to have a card cutting, account closing celebration:beer:
Unfortunately still another 5:eek: ccs to bust:mad: but I am determined!
Which is why I've done 2 payments today PAD = 20.56:j
Using council tax and water rates money for the next 2 months too!
My mortgage has come down too, but only by £9.50..it's not a big one.
I so love this thread and the support..I couldn't do it without all you lovely peeps!
Have a good day

£1.50 for the candle holder today and looking forward to a trip to the bank on Friday afternoon to throw onto one of the many CCs! Then it's roll on February to start the PaD again. I'm making a note on my calendar each month to get me motivated.
:T Yet another HUUUGE total everyone! We are on fire!! :T
Keep up the brilliant work everyone no matter how little or how much it all counts!
Enjoy your day everyone and looking forward to reading through the posts later on today!

I think I'm about to cry! Just had an online statement come through from nasty Virgin saying my minimum payment for this month will be £104.34!  But I paid £170 off last month! Where's the logic in all this? And it can only get worse. Raah they make me so angry as they will not lower my interest rate which is 34.9%!!

Flying friesan, you will just have to ignore him! I know that my ex would not even have said ' well done' but started on 'why should I say well done when you are stupid enough to owe money' etc etc., so just be glad that you don't have that to put up with! [Actually, come to think of it - neither do I anymore!! Hurrah!!!]
PAD of £2.00 yesterday. Still have the rpoblem that having NSDs means no change to put in my piggy bank. Up side is that £1 coins going in instead, so bigger nibbles at blasted overdraft...
Fag Ash Lil - a normal tube of Smarties will take 20p coins, if you find a big tube in ASDA then it would probably take £2 coins [just guessing...] plus lots more lovely Smarties to eat! Let me know if this works.
Have a great day, everyone - it's wet, blustery and raw in London at the moment - hope it's better where you are!0
