Good afternoon everyone. Well despite A&L phoning yesterday and saying that the one-off payment option should now work - it isn't. I can't be bothered ringing them again so I'll just stick with making cash payments to my bottle and then paying a lump sum of cash into the overdraft.

So £2.60 to the bottle today.

    Have a nice evening everyone.

My line broke today so sent OH out to buy a new one (was hoping for a NSD  ), just 2p change so that's all for my jar today.

Woohoo - just got accepted for a 13 month 0% with Halifax £3000 limit. Will be able to clear about 4 cards with this, then everything is on 0% or low lifetime BT.

    I love life.

    (and women):p

I know how you feel about being accepted for the deal - I managed to get OH accepted for the Virgin 0% for 16 months deal yesterday and have managed to move his MBNA balance to it. The interest free period on MBNA was due to end next month and would have reverted to 22% so glad to have shifted it to 0% for such a long time. All ours is on LOB or 0% now which does make me feel better about the awful interest.

RBS sent some credit card cheques today offering us an increase on the card to £10k limit and the interest rate on the cheques was 29.3% Feel sorry that some people will use them in desperation and then pay huge interest and probably never clear it. We've fallen for it in the past as an easy option but now we are DFW wise we know it should all be on LOB or 0%. Just pleased to still be able to get accepted for such offers - I know some people can't.
