  • I decided to bite the bullet given the threat of redundancy over me and I've paid an extra £25.00 since my earlier post to a combination of house savings, holiday fund, wedding savings and debt. Mainly debt though...

Sorry, Paul, don't know why I thought you were Paula...won't make that mistake again, honest. Good to know there's a centre near you, I'll post tomorrw to let you know how I got on. This is the first time I have had to do this as got divorced last year and ex took the joint car. So I bought a little Peugeot second hand from a neighbour and i LOVE it! It's my own car!! No-one to say 'no you can't take the car, take the bus and use your Travelcard...' However, if it needs serious money spent on it I am snookered, as I don't have much money, serious or otherwise! So fingers crossed for tomorrow.

So sorry to all of you who are feeling ropey. Stay under the duvet if you can with a hot drink. I am a great lemon and honey fan - just look after yourselves.

£100 today to Lloyds TSB - still owe them heaps, but it all helps! My minimum payment should be about 70 quid, but I like to pay a little extra to keep it coming down.

Hope you're all having a cheery day!! xx

    Afternoon everyone,

Paid £5.47 to Natwest CC today.

Thank you to everyone who has posted links within the last week or so for money saving ideas for my trip to london, i am very excited now knowing it doesnt have to cost a fortune - printed off all my vouchers :D and looking forward to having a weekend just OH and i. Even though we live together to dont seem to spend much time alone, we always have people round or out with friends so it should be nice.

Big hugs to everyone who is feeling down today or not feeling well.

Hope everyone has had a good day, im going to get myself a nice cup of hot chocolate now to try and warm myself up :j

  • Well today for D-Day for Victor*.

If todays health check was going to cost more than £300 then I' m afraid I'd have had to put him down due to lack of funds.....he's a big chappie and therefore expensive to keep alive, and whilst he's nice to have around, I just don't think I could have justified a big bill.

The good news is however that Victors annual health check cost £78, so that's a relief, and whats better is that I can keep him (rather than putting him down) at least until next year anyway.

Todays PAD is only £1.14 today. Had £11.14 available in my bank account so rounded down.

*Victor is a 2001 'Y' Vauxhall Vectra LS Saloon, in blue. 95000 miles, newly taxed and now fully MOT'd ;) .
