As well as being quite the jolliest, smiliest and supportive thread on here - I think we're possibly in the running for the most bonkers too!

In the nicest possible way of course. xxx

afternoon all. soooo glad it's friday! OH will be home tonight (been in london all week) & the kids are having a film night - really just a dvd and sandwich in the lounge, but they like it!

chanced weighing myself today and am pleased to report that i have lost 1.5lbs. my scales weigh to the 1/8 of a pound (handy when losing, depressing when gaining!) but i think i will only count it as "lost" (...or gained :D) by the half pound. quite a result as i have actually made no effort to be good and have scoffed loads of chocs AND finished the christmas sherry this week (hic!).

had a nice no spend day today. rode my new bike round to a friends house for coffee this morning then finished off the fridge bottom soup for lunch. snacked on some homemade "jungle cake" (banana bread to anyone but DS1) and finally got round to filling in that childrens tax credit form that terri mentioned ages ago. also cut up xmas cards for next year's gift tags. thoroughly enjoyed the kerfuffle over wee's "load" as well! :o

leftover meatballs for tea (jamie oliver recipe from ministry of food book - really yummy!) and probably a little nip of wine. whoever it was that mentioned a night in with kids, wii, pajamas and book - that sounds lush! (yes, i am a gavin & stacey fan!)

have a lovely weekend all! my pad today £1.16 - really chuffed with how my holiday spends is building up. i won't want to spend it by the time the hols is here :D
Mortgage free as of 11/11/15 !
:Anow... to start some serious saving :A
