Late getting on here today as had to go into town to get a new tyre on the car .... more expense but necessary as OH said my tyre had perished and was dangerous!

On the PAD front I've done well and have cleared the last payment on my M & S card - paid £13.38 to finish it off!!

Also went into bank and cancelled 'fee paying account' and got a bog standard one with a tiny OD facility that is free and have saved £38.30 per month by doing so ... more to throw at the debts. I love the Feb and March Council Tax breaks too and will be paying the extra £250 off the next CC.

I love the idea of paying extra off the debts each day - it somehow keeps me on track with the spending as every pound I go to spend I think 'could this go towards my PAD?' and either don't spend it or buy a cheaper brand. I have foregone my usual Pantene shampoo today in favour of Sunsilk which was on half price offer ... will put difference towards tomorrow's PAD. Also booked my daughter a hair apointment for tomorrrow and opted for a dry cut rather than wash and cut saving £6! This is so new to me!

Hope everyone is well and getting back to normal after the festivities!

    Lewby xx

Happy New Year everyone! - i know its late but i havent been around much over christmas and new year.

So i have decided despite doing this payment a day, i have not been making a big enough dent in my debts. I WILL be debt free this year!!

So instead of avoiding updating my signiture and what i really have paid off im going to go through it all tonight. New year, new start!

    Hope everyone is well xx

Great start everyone. Dragged the children into town today but got so fed up with the pair of them that I left before I visited the bank to pay in pennies! Never mind, they aren't going anywhere I suppose - its just that I wanted to see that sub-£100 in my signature.
