Well done Lewby on paying off your M & S card. Will be taking your example and attempting to substitute or avoid spend altogether so that I can make my PADs too!

Hello my lovelys!
£2 to Cahoot loan today. Water bill and TV licence came out today, so not much spare!Competition wins in 2009 - Nothing so far0 -
Well i am back and as i said earlier i have looked through all my finances properly and my head is fully out the sand.
Positives are:
1 - The debts have not increased
2 - I have spent the last 6 months having my LBM and making changes to my attitudes towards money.
3 - I have got a permanent part time job for inbetween uni.
4 - I now have OH fully on board with me and we have a goal to be debt free by the end of the year so we can start saving for a deposit on a house!!:j
Negatives are:
1 - Despite having my LBM 6 months ago and taking part in the payment a day i have not made as big a dent in the debts as i hoped.
2 - We have over £3000 of debt and nothing to show for it
So from now on i vow to update my signiture at least once a week instead of ignoring the figures! Any extra money we have will no longer be spent on 'little treats' but will be put straight towards the credit cards. And we WILL be debt free this year so we can start saving for our own place!!!Biggest Loser Weight Loss: 13 / 20 lb0 -

Evening all
Another £1.57 in the pot for me... not as much as I'd liked but had to do grocery shop - first one for 3 weeks so cupboards were bare. Glad I took the time to do a menu plan and shopping list and stuck to it, plus with all the choccy goodies we got for christmas there were aisles I could miss out completely :j
Looking forward to emptying my pot next week and throwing it at a debt!

Could I join Your PaD club, I've been reading the thread and it is so motivating.
I currently put a pound a day away in a little money box, plus any slummy I have in my purse at the end of the day.
When it becomes full I bag up the appropriate amounts and pay them into the bank at the end of the month to pay extra off my Virgin card which is interest free 'til 2010. I'm also in the process of training my DH to do likewise, although he's not too keen on the daily aspect of my great scheme.S/W -1, *-1.5, +1:o, -1/2, *-2, -2.5,0 -
hi guys
£10 for me in the PAD account for payment and distribution at the end of the month. I am happy to keep track of my monthly figure in my sig as its easier to do a full update at that point anyway.DFW 228 LONG H 68

Couldnt find a suitable cutesy avatar so I will stick with this winter one a bit longer. It's just like the two of us.
It's been a bit of a bad day today, so I hope to come back a bit brighter tomorrow.
You are all doing so well.
