I found some DK machine washable wool in B&M for 79p
If you have a problem finding it in the shop, it’s in the TOY section,
as it is with the childrens crafting things !
here’s the link to find store locations

    http://www.bmstores.co.uk/maps.htm

I was getting slightly worried last week,........
    ..... as B&M had
    NO WOOL :eek::eek:

My OH said it was my fault
for posting about it on MSE :rotfl::rotfl:
It's OK though because he got me some today as they've had a new delivery :j:j:j
    and some new colours :D:D

so .......... there he was ........ in the shop ... describing it all to me on the mobile :rotfl::rotfl:
I now have a stock to keep me going for a while

I thought some of you may be interested to know,
that they also have ARRAN YARN ... 400gm ball for £2.99p

I hope everyone is ok & that the weather hasn't been too bad where you are.
Is their anybody desperate for specific items at the moment ?

Big hugs to all of you busy

Maytaurus - More wool and new colours ooooo lovely, I got to find somewhere for my stash, I have filled the last plastic box I bought
OH bought me 12 balls of hedgehog wool today for £2, in a dark blue and silver , not really a hedgehog colour but its really nice. Thanks for posting the list of B&M shops, I will have a look in a bit.
BTW thanks for the group hug it was very warming :A

Shelley - O good, glad they've arrived, and you're welcome to the you know what, ;)

Just a thought for everyone knitting squares, have you though of making scarves, its just like knitting a lot of squares without casting off, you can use any colour, any stitch, or keep swapping stitches over, make it stripey or just use the one colour, whatever you want to do, anything is always welcome, and L/H always need scarves for the elderly
Anyway happy knitting all, I'm off for a :coffee: now

    Hi craftlady
    re
maytaurus - I'm trying to do one of those bunnys from a square. Looking at the instructions - I've done the head and ears - I've sewn up the back, put some stuffing in - now I'm stuck. I'm sure I'm just being thick but I don't understand what to do next. HELLLLLLLLLPPPPP!!!!!!!!!

sorry I missed you (Wednesday evening).......

are you using this Bunny tutorial?
    http://www.artsy-fartsy-mama.com/index.php?itemid=162

if so... is it this bit you’re stuck with?
‘’’’As you start to pull this thread you can see the head and ears of the bunny start to form’’’’’

This thread... is the knotted end of the running stitch – across the middle of the square & triangular shape – as in the picture below your LARGE knot should be to the right hand side,
I just leave a length of thread at the side with the knot just in case the end gets pulled through by accident
It says make sure you have a secure knot at the end, as the thread will be pulled later because this is what makes the neck of the bunny...
after you have stuffed the head & stitched it to secure the stuffing & shape of the head and sewn up the back
just pull the knotted end of the thread tightly & it pulls in the shape to make the neck

    bunny2.jpg
I ignored this pic below as I think it confuses things & don’t really know what it’s supposed to be showing ...
so thinking this could be where you got stuck

Of course I could be wrong in which case ... sorry and hope to catch you L8TR
