Hi Maytaurus - you'll need to apply for the Wooligans http://uk.groups.yahoo.com/group/Wooligan/ on Yahoo and I have to 'approve' you (which I will do, I promise!). There's a section on there to apply to join. I'll keep checking the site and approve you as soon as I see your application.

Hi Sheyo - Maytaurus is brilliant at finding links to patterns as well as always having a suitable picture available! I often copy and paste the pictures, especially the ones to do specifically with knitting, and use them for letter headings when I write to my Mum (LilyMay on here; she's not online, so I send her patterns and our updates and so on, and she loves to receive letters). Thanks for your kind thoughts - DH and I will survive; with him being self-employed for years, we've had many ups and downs - the downside is that I'm getting a bit too old for all the aggro! The totals are looking fantastic. I was amazed at how well we did last year (our first year), but 2009 has got off to an unbelievable start. Without the time, enthusiasm and generosity of people like you, it wouldn't be such a success, so I'm really grateful to you all. MY real sadness is that I can't do as much as lots of others on here. I help my DH run his business (and the paperwork side of it all is a nightmare), and I also do my own work (freelance writing) so our days are hard to organise. Being someone who likes routine and organisation, I have never found it easy! The knitting and crochet helps to calm me down as long as I can stay awake!

Well, off to get the breakfast started - porridge this morning! We have some double cream left over so we'll have a big dollop of that with it!

Hope you all have a good day!

Shez - glad they got there and that the crochet buntings were OK. Your latest parcel arrived today so I shall be getting on with those in between other things!

Mrs Moneypenny - glad you found your bodkin!

Thanks for everyone's updates - I will add them in the morning! Everyone is knitting like the clappers! There must be some very hot needles in the UK!

K2tog - a bodkin is just the proper name for the needle used for sewing your knitting together!
