Right -- I think it will be D.I.V.O.R.C.E if I spend another minute on this computer today. The only time I have come off was to go to the Wool Shop.
Will come on tomorrow and catch up with all your news . Thanks to all who have become followers of the Blog -- I was so chuffed when I went on -- made up for natural frustrations with teething problems. Actually DOH is so supportive he has been helping me !!

    Hi ISOM,
here is the easiest burial "bunting" (wrap) for tiny preemies, note that we don't line them, also that Shelley at PreemiesUk is happy to take them without ribbons if necessary as she has a supply.

    hope this is ok

You’ve probably already seen this site, which was founded in 1999 by journalist Liz Carnell, as a direct result of her experience of school bullying, but I will post the link anyway, as it may be helpful to someone else (directly/indirectly)

    Good morning everyone.

Pippa - I'm glad everything went as well as could be. I was thinking about you on such a sad day. Your friend sounds much-loved and you must have been the perfect friend to her.

Chalky - your blog is really great. It looks really professional, too, and your applique work is brilliant! Which reminds me, I really must get on with mine. Most of yesterday was taken up with visitors, so I shall see if I can get on with it today.

Lots of (((hugs))) to you and your DS, Jaqui - it must be a horrible time for you both.

Well, I've nearly finished the set of baby clothes I'm making for our friends to take back with them for their new grandchild due in November. Then I'm going to make a crochet pincushion to include with my Mum's birthday pressies for later this month, then I shall make a few more preemie items so that I can send a parcel to Shelley, and then I shall make some name-buntings (thanks Chalky!) for Christmas pressies, and then, and then, and then - just not enough hours in the day or pairs of hands!

    Have a great day.

Hi Maytaurus - posts crossed! Lovely links again, thanks so much, and thanks for the 'You're not alone'! I know not everyone gets excited about wool but I at least made the effort to pretend to be stunned when DH showed me a box of new screws that he'd bought! They're a new type (and there was I, thinking that a screw was a screw!), so I had to have them explained to me and then agree with him about how well-made and shiny they were!

Hope you are feeling well today.

I'm sure F1Widow will find the bullying info really helpful.

ISOM - I've often wondered about Prfungi's name - I'm sure she can't be fungal!

Good luck with the estate agent. It's a nerve-wracking time, isn't it?

At the moment DH is ripping up floorboards just above my head - I'm gathering a layer of yet more dust!

morning all. kathy, your post about the screws really amused me, probably because my hubby shows me things (like music by bowie) that are, for me, just boring and unenjoyable, but he will explain all sorts of stuff and i just smile and as "yes dear" - unfortunately after about 15 minutes he gets that i am not interested and gets a bit sulky. poor chap he was up and about at 5am this morning. i was tired, so didn't ask what was wrong ... another migraine! so he is still in bed and says that his head is so sore that he cant speak!

isom, hope that you have a lovely relaxing day.

kathy, hope that you get to play with some of that nice new wool.

maytaurus - thanks for that lovely post, it made me smile as always. by the way, do you know where i could get one of those lovely unravelling sheep that i could take with me to my new knitting group?

have a wonderful day everyone - i believe that its not going to be sunny, but that means that there is a whole lot of knitting and crocheting that can be done.

think i must go to the shop and buy some wool for my new personal project - a ripple blanket for our spare room (and one that hubby can wrap around him when he is not feeling well and suffering from the cold).

oh ... that thought has got me excited, pity the shops dont open for a few hours still.
