hi kathy, yes it is the jean greenhowe stocking that we are doing

the pattern for the crochet bell is

    ch2
round1 6ch in first ch st. join with a sl st.
round2 ch 1, 2sc in each st around. join with a sl st.
rounds3-7 ch 1, 1 sc in each st. join with sl st.
round8 ch1, 2 sc in each st around. fasten off. hang small pom pom inside for ringer.

hope somebody can make use of it, as i can't crochet, and dont understand what the instructions are saying.

if anybody wants the actual ball band with the pic, i can send it out.
have no facilities here to scan it and post

Hi Shaz - thanks for typing up and posting the pattern. It looks really easy and quick. If you could learn the basics of crochet from one of the tutorials, I'm sure you'd be able to make one!

What a lovely surprise that parcel of wool and stuffing must have been - especially as you weren't expecting it! Hope you decide what to take to your craft group!

ps Sorry, some of them are crochet patterns.
    Thank you,
I had to sign up to ravelry, a site I had not heard of before so trucks here I come.
I did nip into wool shop today, got some lovely green fleck aran to do a jumper for DS. Also got a copy of a pattern I had lost (it came on a ball band) so can finish a jumper I started for myself about 2 years ago! Really need to get that preemie bodywarmer done, as have a few things on the go right now ;).
    Thanks again.

ISOM - your blog is great. Can you tell me how to add the link to my profile, please? I've had a look and can't see how to do it.

Mrs Moneypenny - take it easy with your shoulder.

All things blog. Spent the whole evening on Chalkys World and have had another go today and was a bit quicker. I would also love to know how to add it to my profile.
Gentlest wishes to all who are heading into the weekend after having to deal with so much this week . Big hug to all.
