Hi Orkney - we usually post a weekly update. I do the final count after the weekend, to give people time to post their weekly totals. So you don't need to post after every item, just once a week! Just post the numbers on here; no need for a pm. Also, if you could highlight your weekly totals in red, it makes it much easier for me to find! Please don't apologise for asking questions - there's a lot to get to know when you first join, and we are all here to help, so fire away!

2 minutes R&R after morning spent finishing loft --- Which is now completely empty and we are not putting anything back up there! Of course that meant we have had to clear out under the stairs to put Christams decs there --- and that meant that we had to clear Utility room gto put all the washed boxes of toys for when littlies come to play !!!! Utility room not the best place but NOWHERE else available. I am going to sew a little gingham curtain on a wire to attach under the worktop so that they are out of sight!!!

Chalky - wow, you sound as if you've been really busy. There's not much more satisfying than an empty loft, though, is there? Especially if, like we used to be, we just used to open the hatch and throw things in! I have a huge trunk of toys in my bathroom - luckily, there's plenty of room for it and, because it's an old pine box, I just put cushions on it and looks as if it's meant to be there. My utility room is also used for overspill at the moment, until DH has built me some more cupboards throughout the house - one of these days!

Everyone - I am working on a new format for the updating to make it easier (for me!). I'd be really grateful if - for all those of you who don't keep their totals in their sigs - you would all check that I have your latest totals right. If not, please let me know. For all those with their totals in their sigs, I'll take the figures from the sigs themselves. When I do the new format, I want to be able to start off correctly! Hope this all makes sense!

Chalky re - I am going to sew a little gingham curtain on a wire to attach under the worktop so that they are out of sight!!!

My mum did that in our kitchen when we were little - not much money back then and my brother and I each had an orange box ( who remembers them ?) with a gingham curtain round to use as bedside cabinets. Very retro - well they do say that everything comes back into fashion :rotfl:

Kathy - yes I got your message about the missing sugar and have added it to the recipe.

Lofts - we had a massive clear out a few years ago so now we only have the Christmas stuff up there, oh and a box of decorative teapots which belong to DD1. If I had enough room down here the Chrissy stuff would be down here as well. Maybe if I have a clearout down here..................:eek:
well, maybe not.

Bacon and egg pie went down a treat with the baked beans on the side - DS says he`ll have the bit that`s left for his lunch at work tomorrow - d**n I had my eye on it, should have said it was all eaten. Ah well looks like it`ll be a sarnie for me tomorrow. :rolleyes:
