Hi everyone
Gentle thoughts to all those still not feeling well or just have such a lot on their plates at the moment. So sorry about the move and pets so a big hug to you and everyone else who needs one The waters on here do seem a little rough at the moment and that includes mine. I seem to be in one of those 1 step forwards 2 backwards places but bound to improve soon
OH much bettet dd2 still hobbling and I am so looking forward to my applique course tomorrow.
I am quite happy for any straggilng squares to come this way . I actually only need 2 more to finish all the tasks in hand and Pam promised those yesterday.
If you want to send anymore I will sew them together for a cosy lap blanket for Lou at Loving Hands as I have a parcel to send off to her before our return to Spain. Other than that perhaps you would rather send them to her direct. It is entirely up to you all
Well I have got to put all the ironing away so speak laterTry and do a good deed every day.0 -

Hi everyone,
Just popped in to catch up with all your news, is it me or has it been quiet on here today, it didn't seem to take long for me to read through.
ISOM - so sorry to hear your having to rehome your pets and moving too, what a stressful time your having sending you lots of (((big hug)))
I've not been too well today I've had a reaction to something and my right eye has blown up like a balloon, my left eye feels like it's starting to swell a bit too. DH thinks it's stress, DS2 hasn't liked going back to school he's got new teachers/classroom and he doesn't like it, he keeps dragging his helper back to his old class. So I haven't had a great week and feel totally drained.
Anyway some of you are having a tougher time than me at the moment, so I shall stop moaning and wish all the poorlies a quick recovery.
I am determined to have a sort out and update this week as it's been ages.
Take care all, speak soon.x:jWooligans Totals 2010:

Actually Only Girl I will send you a massive hug because I think I worry more about my children -- even though they are fully grown , than anything else.
I taught in a primary school for many years mainly in Reception and the beginning of the September term can be very stressful for the children, parents and teacners who do hope the children settle in their new classes.
So give yourself a hug and I hope everything settles down soon.Try and do a good deed every day.0 -

dpixie - hoping your hubby feels better soon
kathy - your right its definately knitting weather - sorry to hear sleep has been a problem - its just awful when that happens - nights seem so awful - i am hoping thats its just one of those things and that nothing is wrong - you have been very busy lately - take care of yourself
chalky - sorry that I bothered you especially as I now see you have so much on your plate - thanks for the reply & hope your OH is better today - its good that you are having some ME time at applique tomorrow

If i have missed anyone I do apologise - hugs to you all xxxx
Well the last time I posted last week I was getting in such a state - reason being for the first time in 3 years I was travelling to my Mums - wellllllll - I made it - the journey was horrendous (panic attacks galore!) BUT it was worth it to see my Mums face at the door (it was her birthday - now Ive done it and hope it wont be 3 years before I get there again - I get so angry with myself - I am not physically ill & a lot better off than a lot of people but when my anxiety takes over I cant think of nothing but staying safe at home - I am so cross with myself! Anyway ive done it but it has taken a few days to recover
Have a lovely weekend all - and I PROMISE (really i do) to do my updates this week (otherwise Im gonna be in KYSSYC naughty corner)
Hugs xxxxDebt Diary: Im not going to be an Ostrich anymore -LBM - 16/1/12 /0 -
f1 widow -- you so did not bother me !!
I think you should give yourself an enormous pat on the back for getting to your Mums
I have just changed the quilt on our bed as DOH has been so poorly ( I have decamped to the spare room !!) And I always think of my Mum when I change quilts as she found it so hard as she got older --- and I am definitely finding it harder every time.
I have packed my bags for the applique day more carefully than I pack for a holiday and I have high hopes for tomorrow -- We will see.Now need to think what arty clothes to wear !!!!!!!!
I will get back to you to tell you all how it went --- A Buster freee day !!Try and do a good deed every day.0 -
Have a fantastic day, Chalky, I can't wait to hear all about it! Hope DH is a lot better soon. I loved your latest photos on Wooligans!
Only Girl - I hope you are managing to de-stress now and that your eye is better. Please see the doctor if it isn't.
F1 - well done on the drive. I felt exactly the same when I had to drive my car over here to France! You'll find it easier next time. We haven't got a naughty corner here! There's no pressure on anyone to knit or update unless they have the time. We all know that real life comes first. Please don't feel guilty, thats an order!
Well, I've had a shower and am just about to sit down and relax for a couple of hours in front of the TV. It's quite cool here at the moment - very autumny!
Hope you are all having a good evening.

Thinking of you all...brain fuddled with tablets gp gave me to make sure I sleep!
OG - a cold flannel over the eye will sooth and help reduce swelling...
chalky sorry to be a pain but could you pm your addy again - mum has squares and I have squares and beads! Alas cleared in pm box without thinking!Nerd no 109 Long haulers supporters DFW #1! Even in the darkest moments, love and hope are always possible.0 -
Hi all, hope you are all well.
Chalky - thank you I was beginning to feel like an over protective mother it's not nice having to drag him kicking and screaming all the way there, shove him in the door and run away not looking back and crying my eyes out for the rest of the morning. I'm sure he'll settle soon, fingers crossed. Hope you had a great day today.
Mioliere/ISOM - thank you for the eye advice but it's feeling a lot better today. I look less like the elephant man now.
F1 widow - You should be so proud of yourself to do something that is a big deal for you, we are all very proud of you and I'm sure everyone on here would agree. Well done.
ISOM - Hope the car boot goes well and you have better weather than us here in cumbria(vey grim).
Right off to go and do something useful(not sure what yet though)
Enjoy your afternoons.x:jWooligans Totals 2010:
