Mrs Moneypenny, hope your quack can sort out some form of medication that works for you.
Dentist - good job I like them - I got in the chair first - scale and polish yep that's lovely - but oops he found I needed a wee bit of a filling in the very last tooth , top left hand side - boy was that a !!!!! to get to! Anyway all done, DH next up - oops no can't fill it it has shattered, extract it, left a bit lighter in the pocket with a prescription for pain killers and mouth wash. Dentist doesn't do injections for routine fillings but I am pleased to say he did give DH a couple for the extraction. I am off to sort out the heat bear for my face - I don't do pills. back later then to try again with the photo thingie.

mrs-moneypenny so sorry to hear your shoulder and arm are so bad. My brother is classed as disabled because of his back, and the hospital told us of a pain management clinic attached to our local hospital, through the GP. Could be worth asking when you see your GP.0

Oh, Mrs Moneypenny - I do hope the pain goes soon. It must be awful for you. Hope the doctor can sort something out for you.
Jean - well done you for having the filling without injections! Hope DH is not too sore. I used to be a dental nurse so I've spent a lot of time on the other side of the chair watching, and apparently helping, the dentist! I haven't tried a French dentist yet, though!
Well, I've spent all morning busying about the house and sorted out my clothes as well. I now have a bag of unwanted things to take to our local Emmaus (the French version of a charity shop). It has been pouring with rain all morning, with a thunderstorm thrown in for good measure, a real change after the heat of the last few days. It's just stopped raining now and the sun is trying to come back out. I'll keep an eye on it before I decide to hang the washing out.
Anyway, off for a cuppa and a knit.
