Pam - I'm so sorry things have been bad for you lately. I do hope you are feeling better now. Don't worry about missing the last update. I think it would be best if you carry on for this week, seeing as you know where you are with it. I'll try and sort a blog out this week. I went onto that site you recommended but was wondering if the username would be the name of the blog? I can't tell from the instructions. Having never done a blog before, it's all new to me! Anyway, I hope to have it up and running by the end of the week.

I hope the days get better for you from now on.

Great to see you back Pam. Pamspal sounds like a good friend to have - perhaps you are overdue a coffee and cake session in town with her? Have some lovely cheesecake for me - my hips can't afford it especially since I just had some ice cream - yes, really at this time of night. I'm a bad girl.
Maytaurus, love the rainy penguin, and what an angel for volunteering for teddy face duty. They would frighten people if I did them
Chalky your needle cases are lovely - you really are a hive of activity - and I haven't forgotten I owe you a parcel. Hope DH feels better soon.
Pippa - your lovely Mum! That'll mean you won't need to go to the wool shop for a bit then .
Shelley, I think I remember you saying that mini Xmas stockings sold well when you were using them for fundraising. I know it's a little way off (but I need plenty of time to get my butt in gear) but I am happy to do some of these for you if you point me in the direction of a pattern. Sadly, I have yet to find any genuine crafting skills :(.
Mioliere, can I come and live in one of your spidery barns please? You have better weather than us and I bought a summer dress on holiday that it doesn't look like I'll get to wear again this year in this country!
  • Me back home now DH lost a piece of tooth, so we rang our Dentist and have an appointment for 9am– I was getting fed up with the seaside anyway as they didn't sell any rock!

Having not taken knitting, only sewing up I decided I would have a go at some felt work....
I got the idea after trying some origami on this site – I have used her templates for boxes previously after the link look down for the woven heart!

    http://www.ruthannzaroff.com/mirkwooddesigns/templates.htm

decided cards are so expensive in France I believe I shall just carry on and make some for the whole family this year. I intend finishing them off with a bit of gold thread to enable them to be hung up on their own trees. This is all Chalky75's fault with her felting projects (thank you – great ideas)
Don't have time to phaff about with the photies this morning so will have another go when I get back - if we have electricity - lightening and thunder on the way. Thank's again Maytaurus big GOLD STAR TO YOU
