Must say that square vest looks easy and so quick to do, think I'll have a go at that after we take the girls home on Sunday.

Have started a bunting for Shelley so will do a few of them over the next few days.
I have been knitting dolls clothes for the last few nights.
I have a new pattern my DIL bought for me from a charity shop down in West Sussex for just a few pence, its a ribbed dress/hat and all in one suit for Premmie babies and dolls so thats something else I want to have a go at.

Better go the hoards are starving :rolleyes:

Hi everyone! Thank you so much for all your congratulations! I have just spent an hour cuddling my beautiful black-haired granddaughter. She's called Summer and weighed 7lbs 15ozs. DIL has been through such a lot but today looked lovely - she is now in a proper maternity home and has a posh room all to herself. She had no sleep last night in the hospital to is looking forward to a rest. Baby is breastfeeding well; DS2 is absolutely besotted with his little girl - I have shed a few tears here, I can tell you.

Pam - thanks for a lovely efficient update!

Haven't had chance to read the thread but will try to tomorrow - DS2 is opening a few beers to celebrate so I'm off now.

Good Morning All !

Gosh, quiet isn't it! I must admit I've had a couple of silly, just disappeared days. Not much knitting done, an hour with my morning coffee and that's about it - generally frittered and faffed. Supermarket and Mum visits have been the most constructive things I've done. Today's plan is a late breakfast with Pamspal (after her weightwatchers check in :rotfl:) - then a visit to the local garden centre to get plants for the bed we cleared last week.
