Elaine sorry we weren't around last night, I was eating and drinking with PamsPal, and we sorted out my stash of wool - frightening:eek: its about 80% new, 20% recycled, 10 stacking boxes altogether, about half of it has "projects" allocated to it.
PP is the best of friends - the biggest part of my b'day prezzie has been the amount of time we have spent together over the last 3days - its been smashing!

I'll be doing the update 'til Kathy comes down to earth, hopefully I'll post it first thing tomorrow.

Hi everyone. Thanks, Pam, for taking care of the update for me! I would definitely get it wrong if I tried to do it today! I'm so glad you had a good time with PP!

Well, I've come back here with a cup of coffee to try and gather my thoughts. I've just phoned my Mum so now she's 'all of a quaver' as she put it! She's also sorting out her huge wool stash because she says she has way too much so I may be coming home well-stocked up!

Maytaurus - lovely piccies again. I loved the baby pattern! How very timely! My FIL has good friends in Cyprus so he's more than happy there.

Anyway, will keep coming back.

Kathy, hope all goes well for a safe and speedy delivery of your new grand child!! Thinking of you today.

Went into our nearest Wilkinson's yesterday and they had eyelash wool for 10p A BALL!! It had already been reduced last week to half price, but this was even better. They only had a fawn colour left but it will be ok for a scarf. So 30p to knit one scarf - bargain I think. They had some green lustre same price as well. I did restrain myself and only got 9 balls but was very tempted to get more!!! I've just finished the ironing (again) had a shower and am going to have some lunch, get the knitting out and watch Man Utd hopefully beat Birmingham.

Hi everyone and thanks for all your good wishes for DS2 and DIL. DIL has been moved to the labour ward because she had a slight bleed, which means that the water birth they were hoping for is a 'no go' as DS2 said. Still, she's in the best of hands and all we can do is wait. Our ferry is booked; we leave here at about 10.30 tomorrow to drive to Caen for the 5pm sailing and should arrive back home at around 10.30 pm. I've just topped up my mobile so that we can keep in touch during the journey, in case she still hasn't had the baby by the time we leave - I hope it's not that long for her - she's been going for about twelve hours so far, so hopefully, it won't be much longer. I haven't told her my first was 36 hours!

Anyway, I can't concentrate on very much and it's also registering 42 degrees on the thermometer to too hot to do much. I've sorted out a load of oddments so that I can be making lots of IS hats on the way over!

Hiya :hello:
Just a quick post, the Wedding Party went really well last night, DGD's and DGS had a great time the girls danced for ages until they wore themselves out, so did DGS more running and wiggling than dancing but he really enjoyed himself.
We have the girls until next week-end we take them back on Sunday.

Kathy - ooooo how exciting hope it happens soon, give them my love and best wishes xx
