Anne, it may very well be exhausting but its also exhilerating looking after the smalls - you can sleep when they go, that's how I deal with it.
Dog is better, I am not, still swithering as to whether I go and queue up in the Docs surgery at 5 - wait two hours and then he tells me its nothing, or just put up with it - will probably end up with the put up option. Alice, think that PSSO (Elaine) was looking for some but she had specific colours in mind, welcome to the forum anyway. Off to get a cold drink then.

Pippa.S - Anne I got your parcel thanks. I put a `parcel shout ` on the LH site but you maybe haven`t been on there lately.
Thanks also to Roamin in the Gloamin Jean , both parcels have come, shazrobo, Mioliere Kathy, and if I`ve missed anyone from here out I do apologise. I thought I`d put the shout on LH as it`s for their funds, but I`ll start noting it on here as well since you lovely lot have been so generous. I know most of you go on to LH now and again, but we are on here more often I suppose. Thank you all for your support.
The rug idea is all Pippa S.`s fault !!!! DD saw the silver/black/white hedgie and told me about the rug. What colour was the yarn Anne or have you thrown out the ball band ages ago ?? I had a look at Wilkinsons website Pam but there`s nothing remotely like it there, the cheapo stuff in the shops is probably the same, but thanks for offering to look for me. I appreciate the thought.

Not feeling so grotty this morning yipee, Oh I did cast on the rib for the MANS jumper but I then made a mistake so I had to dump it - will have another go today.
ISOM bet it was sheer heaven - out in the wooly wilds - I have the late night cow disco - no sheep locally like Elaine.
Elaine - did you get that wallpapering done then, or are you back at it today? Hope your DS is feeling a bit better too.
Anne - did you want another Thomas the Tank pattern? I came across one in my stack the other day - thought of your DGS, let me know eh, enjoy those girlies nearly their home time. Will you be buying seaside rock when you deliver them home - mmm yummie yum
Pam - you made your mind up about where to plant the plants yet? Oh perhaps today then.
Kathy - if your around hope your enjoying your hols in the UK and buying lots (of anything) I have just added seaside rock to my next visit list!
Maytaurus - hope your keeping fine - are you about lurking?
Lorna - The French swear by Arnica cream or gell or pills its fantastic for bruises, don't laugh but my vet was the first to point it out to me, closely followed by practically everyone else.
Alright great big enormous cuddles for everybody today, hope you all have sunshine in your lives.
Off for a cuppa,
ye all have a nice day, ye hear.

Oh dear, no-one`s been about all day.
Glad to hear your a bit better Jean- think you must have had the same bug as DD - poor thing didn`t know which end to worry about first
DS seems to be over his bout of flu though, thank goodness.
Wonder what`s in store for me ???
Been slapping on the wallpaper all day, must have as much paste on me as on the paper, what a state. Off to throw the clothes in the machine and run a nice bath for myself as I`ve got the place to myself, so no-one shouting `hurry up I need in` - and if the phone rings..........tough. :rotfl:

Elaine, sorry I missed you last night- as I am an hour ahead I don't always log in although I lurk about at all sorts of hours, hope that nice bath put you in the mood for a good sleep. I thought of an old Charlie Drake skitt when he was wallpapering and thought of you - or perhaps it was Mr Pastry they both were always in some sort of mess anyway - so I ain't as young as you all think then.
Maytaurus, great posts, thanks for the virtual flowers, so much longer lasting that the ones in a vase that wither and die - I am still going at both ends as Elaine said but at least its getting better. Didn't bother with the Doc I only catch more in his waiting room! Love the wee duck with the blankie - might have to do that for someone as a christmas pressie.
Pam, Is is worth an update this week? I can only say I have managed 2 further ugly dolls and clothes for same, 2 wee purses and one cuddly caterpillar (LH toys), which is nowt to write home about. I will update my sig eventually. I will be doing some Christmas knitting today for family and friends - well I should get a spurt on with it - Nephew would like some golf club covers and I will now go and search quickly for a pattern
G'day to all,
Jean (doing OZ today)
xx
Off to do the crossword - I only do one a week!
UPDATE
2 RAG DOLLS
2 PURSES
1 CUDDLY CATERPILLAR (LH TOYS)
Signature is now correct

Morning all! (Just)
New pain meds are wrecking my sleep and not doing much for the pain - last night I was lying awake until gone 5am in spite of warm bath, milky drink, hop and lavender pillow. Been dozing since 10am. I'm going to go for a bike ride today to look for blackberries - perhaps I can exhaust myself into sleeping!
Anyway, all this has meant that I've done quite a bit of knitting (for me, I am a slow knitter)
