Hi all.
I Love Tea - I hope you have found the culprit. It'll be a shame to give up the grapes but worth it if it stops the aches BUT, and it's a big BUT - what about wine?!
Kinsey - I've added your totals to the last update. If you post your future totals over the weekends, they can be added when I add everyone elses.
Well, I went out shopping. The car park at the local shopping complex is being re-surfaced so it was madness trying to find a place, especially as I swear the French don't actually have driving lessons. I lose count of the number of incidents of bad driving I encounter every time I go out! Anyway, I parked in the new shopping centre which has just been built next to the old one and I found some lovely shops! No wool, sadly, but a wonderful haberdashery, a really good gifty shop which will be ideal for Christmas and so on, a huge shoe shop and two clothes shops. I am really impressed with all the prices. Both the clothes shops have lovely baby ranges so I know where some of my money will be going!
The little black cat that has adopted us introduced me to her little tabby kitten this morning! I suspected she was either pregnant or not long given birth, so now I know. I don't know whether she had more kittens; one is unusual for a cat, but she is so tiny so I'm hoping she hasn't lost any. The kitten is gorgeous but won't let me near her yet; she races up on to the roof as soon as she sees me.
Anyway, off to have some lunch, then I shall do a couple of hours work, then a bit of knitting.
Hope everyone is having a good day.

Hi all.
Jacqui - I'm not too frustrated at not being able to find wool. I have a huge stash, although I have almost run out of baby colours, but I will stock up when I'm back in the UK during August. Before I moved here, I emailed Kemps wool and they said they would send overseas, and that it would not be too expensive as long as I kept the order under 2kgs. If I wasn't coming back soon, I would have ordered from them. As it is, I can't wait to hit my old wool shop!
The adopted cat is very small -she looks about a year old. I still don't know if she belongs to anyone. None of the neighbours seem to know, either. I shall leave it another month and make a few more enquiries, then I shall have her spayed to prevent further pregnancies - if she's feral, it would not be fair on her or any kittens to let her keep breeding. I shall worm her and treat her for fleas, anyway, if it's safe to do so while she's nursing. If she does belong to someone else, at least I'll be doing them - and her - a favour!. She is a lovely cat with a really gentle nature; we've really fallen for her.
InSearchof Me - don't forget, we are all here for you. I hope things start to look up for you soon.
I've done a bit more of the accounts today, so I'm going to sit and do some knitting for an hour or so.

Me again,
Can you tell dh has gone back to work today and I've had the computer to myself. Been on it all day. lol.
Glad your aches are better ilovetea, hope you have a nice time with grankids.
Mioliere how lovely for your adopted cat to bring her kitten to visit, she must feel at home with you. I rescued a cat from my mil shed a few years ago, she was a tortoise shell and beautiful she was riddled with tumours and the vet said she'd be lucky to last the week, I took her home and she was with us for about six weeks in all. I miss her every day.
Anyway thats enough of my wittering, talk to you all tomorrow.x:jWooligans Totals 2010:

Only Girl - what a sad story about the cat. At least you did your best to help her and she must have enjoyed her final weeks with you. I hope you've enjoyed your interruption-free day on the computer!
Mrs Moneypenny - you are working so hard on the squares - I do hope we get to see some photos when it's finished. How are you finding the Swiss darning?
Well, off to put the kettle on. I'm finding it hard to get motivated now because I keep checking on the kitten. It's a lovely tabby with ears that are far too big for it. It thinks it should run away every time it sees me, but curiosity gets the better of it now, and it keeps looking at me!
