Chalky, hope your MIL is OK - what a worry.
Shelley it's good to see you about again. Glad you're better.
Happy birthday PTB and belatedly for F1widow.
Naughty you Jaqui telling us about the hedgie yarn - shhh, might go and get some.
Have been surfing today looking for some very shortie circulars as DS2s hat has come out really well (he is sitting in his PJs ready for bed and wearing it now!) and I enjoyed knowing that I wouldn't have any sewing to do! Have found some 9 inch ones but it is on an American site so will have a good look later when it's quieter. Has anyone really splashed out and bought (or been lucky enough to have been given) some Lantern Moon needles? I saw some recently in my local wool shop and they are absolutely stunning to look at and feel beautifully smooth but unfortunately are about 16 quid a pair . Might put some on my Christmas list!
Hope everyone is having a good day. I'm off to find something circular to knit - I feel another obsession beginning0 -
Hi everyone. We were out for most of the day yesterday so didn't get time to come back on here.
PTB - Happy Birthday for yesterday!
F1Widow - Happy Birthday for last Monday!
Chalky - your poor DMIL - I hope she's on the mend!
Well, today's the day I try and get most of DH's accounts finished. They're really hanging over me and I want to get them done so I can put them out of my head and concentrate on far more important things like planning for our visit back to the UK, and knitting!
It's really warm and sunny here at the moment, so I will have to force myself to stay indoors and do the accounts. DH will be laying the new flooring in the downstairs bathroom, so that will be another job done on the house. Now that he's working most of the week, not as much is getting done as I would like! We had thought he would work for two to three days a week, but it's not working out like that! Still, the money is more than welcome!
Anyway, I'd better get on with the breakfast.
I hope you all have a lovely Sunday, and I'll keep calling in to break up the montony of doing the accounts!

Morning all
Had a bargain on Friday, more wool you might guess  I went up to our local shopping centre and the little wool shop was selling FIZZ wool for 59p a ball  so I bought 6 balls 2 pink mixes, 2 lilac mixes and 2 navy mixes.
I have used it a few times now but not for that price its usually around £4 a ball. Have any of you ever used it???
It is gorgeous, sort of like a string with a type of mohair and bits of fabric like ribbon in all different colours, sounds awful but it knits up really easily and very effective. I am well chuffed, £24 worth of yarn for £3.54 :j:T
HAPPY BELATED BIRTHDAY's PTB and f1widow :bdaycake:
